Why is there no home delivery. Especially for older folks. Eleanor has many older people who cannot get to the post office and must trust others to pick up their mail (if they have a neighbor or relative who will do That). Eleanor is residential and not rural. Always wondered why no home delivery if first class Mail.

I have this same question. I don't know the history as to why there are no mail carriers but this is one of the most frustrating things about living in this town. Receiving packages from vendors who use SurePost can pose additional frustration when you have to find arrangements to pick up a package because the PO is closed after your working hours. It seems that we can make many points to the advantages of a mail carrier. I would like to hear why there are disadvantages to bringing this town into 2023.
