The passport lady clerk that waited on me this morning was exceptional. She went out of her way to help me with a difficult situation. She was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. She is a real asset to the Stoughton Post Office.

Ted is a terrible mailman he has constantly thrown packages kicked decorations, and slammed into vehicles with his mail bag. Ted also parks on the grass runs stop signs and genuinely doesn't care about his job. He has openly stated he dislikes his job and that he doesn't make enough money. Everyone in the neighborhood hates the way Ted acts and behaves we have found some mail in the drive way that he dropped and hasn't picked up. Pretty sad and when we ask to talk to the post master it's always he isn't in. Ted also has spoke about having a DUI before to my wife which the way he drives makes me think he's drunk sometimes in the post office vehicle. Thought that was against the post office policies and procedures apparently stoughton hires anyone very sad.

I moved to Stoughton in 2017. I have had many interactions with Stoughton USPS (regular location and annex) personnel, re: a variety of shipping and receiving scenarios. I have been very impressed with their patience, helpful suggestions and knowledge of processes and mail related matters. Many thanks for the great help I've received over the years!

I just got off the phone with the rudest woman in customer service! They took my mail from my mailbox and sent it all back back! When I called to ask where it was, they didn’t know! When I asked why it was taken she replied “the carrier thought he should forward it cause it was in the mailbox.” When I explained there was nothing on the mail to state that it should be forwarded, she then told me that I should not leave my mail in my mailbox! There were 6 things in there! It wasn’t full. When explained that I travel every 6 months she then said “good for you, then you should change your address. Again, she tried to blame me. RUDE. Disrespectful.

Said attempted delivery was made when it was not made. Paid extra for shipping to only have them not feel like delivering when they should have.

Never ever answer their telephone. You cannot call to make a passport application because they will not answer the phone. Had to drive 15 extra miles because they won't answer their phone to make appointments. Very very disappointed. No answering message either just the phone rings and rings and Rings why your blood pressure rises.

As Private Citizen said, the Stoughton Post Office does seem to have its own ideas about customer service. Some of the people who work there are incredibly lazy and rude. You would think in a small town this wouldn't be the case, but unfortunately it is.

The postal workers at this location are lazy and will deliver your mail to the wrong address or they will just say you don't live there any more and send your package back. If you want to mail some thing to Stoughton use another service, because they will not make there mistakes right. You will have to pay out of your own pocket. Go figure another government agency that is not responsible for their actions. No wonder they were going out of business. To all the hard working postal people, police your lazy co worker's. It will be their laziness that puts you out of a job.
