I live on Virginia Terrace and Zach is our male carrier. He goes above and beyond every day and almost always has a very big smile on his face. He tries very hard to get our mail to where it’s supposed to go in the course of his day. He is a fabulous mail carrier.

No notice or note was left to call or find out what to do to rectify the problem I live in a senor building and I have a problem getting to my mailbox on a daily basis. We live at 111 Virginia Terrace in Madison and our carrier is Zach. I just want to say that Zach is a terrific carrier; he is friendly, reliable and goes out his way to make sure our mail is delivered properly. A fine postman.

My review is DO NOT USE REGISTERED MAIL. My daughter mail a registered birthday card to me from Blackearth, WI which had cash in it. Tracking shows it went to Madison and that was the end on it. So my guess is there’s a thrift at the PO. A felon, a registered letter has no real guarantee or recourse to recoup your property whatever it may be, so again Do Not use that service,!it’s a rip off, no pun !!

Two of the last 3 packages I received were delivered to someone else first. The first was here in Madison and was delivered the next day, left at the wrong house. Today instead of being delivered to zip 53714 it went 53140 in Kenosha My mail was delivered at 5:50 I knew there was a problem coming when I got the tracking notice at 4:10 and it wasn't here. Having dealt with this Post Office I can hardly hope to see it by Friday. And of course the person you have to call to fix it is done a 4:00!! (THEY SHOULD BE OPEN AT LEAST AN HOUR AFTER THE LAST CARRIER COMES IN.) I figure a day to find and get it back (if they can,) that's Tuesday, figure more than likely Wednesday before it can head towards Madison, that's Thursday. At least a day or two to get thru the sorting center and to the carrier, that's Saturday. So assuming they get it back and are able to send it on, and that the person they left it wi th doesn't "return to sender"...MAYBE NEXT MONDAY.....

Have lived in my house for almost 14 years now. One day the post office decides that I don't live there anymore. Didn't get mail for over a month. Filled out a form one USPS website and never got a response until I was finally able to talk to my neighborhood mail carrier. Turns out the post office decided my house was vacant and returned all my mail to the various senders. During the time of not getting mail I renewed the license plate stickers on my truck. Paid $168 to Wi DMV. No stickers have arrived and DMV says I have to pay for replacement. Post office messed up and they should be the ones paying for my replacement stickers.

My husband and I would like to thank our great crew of postal carriers! They should be thanked each and every day for all of their hard work. They are understaffed, have long days and deliver at night which makes me concerned for their safety. Please take the time to make sure you thank them from us and see if there is anything that can be done to keep them safe. Thank you USPS

The service sucks. Have a package sent to me from New York State to Madison Wisconsin via priority mail. It's now been 10 days and It's still reroute. How pathetic. I've had three packages sent from Europe via Fed Ex and have received all of them in 4 to 6 days. It's time to get rid of the USPS. It's nothing more than an obsolete dinosaur.

I’ve complained multiple times that our mail is being delivered to the wrong home addresses. We’ve had two different neighbors drop off our mail because it was incorrectly delivered. Somehow, even with our complaints, my new PASSPORT was STILL delivered incorrectly to the next door neighbor. I’m still speechless

Hello, Whom ever the postal carrier is that services 2853 Harvey St, Madison, I want to thank him for looking out for the neighborhood and going above and beyond his duties. I was out mowing the lawn, and he mentioned that he hadn't seen the residents in 2 weeks. And mentioned that he likes to keep in touch with his customers. He has also gone out of his way to keep packages out of the rain which isn't easy to do at that address. So thank you for doing such a great job!

I ordered something from QVC, an on line shopping site, that according to their information for my account was supposed to be delivered on April 25, 2020 by the PO. It was transferred from UPS to PO on April 24th. To date I have not received this item. I have never had any problems with deliveries in the past and do a lot of on line shopping. Who should I contact about this?

641 W. Main St., Madison, WI , I’ve gotten the wrong Mail twice this week. Are they getting our mail I’m not receiving any? I’m getting tired of it. Maybe they need to screen their employees a little better

At least twice a week we receive another neighbor's mail. At least twice a week our neighbor across the street gets our mail. I've never had such terrible postal service. We live in Grandview Commons and get our mail at the mailboxes on Saturn Drive. Why is putting the correct mail in the correct box so difficult. Also, in December we were notified that we would be receiving a card--we saw it in the preview. It never arrived. We waited 10 days (as we were told) and then reported it, but by that time we were told that it was too late to try and track it.

I really appreciate how an important certificate, meant to be framed. One where aside from it being First class mail, and coming from National Registry; it states "DO NOT BEND" and yet, the awesome postal person bent it so intensely shoving it into the box that it cannot be framed. I will have to pay AGAIN for it, and hope I have a more considerate human being to deliver the next. Awesome. Really Awesome.

I have tried multiple times to contact the postal inspectors in Washington reference repeated instances of thefts of mail. In the past three years we have had numerous mail stolen by postal employees either in Madison or Milwaukee. In almost all the instances, the envelopes were the types of envelopes associated with greeting cards. Our staff and students have reported that money, checks and gift cards have not been delivered. It is too bad that you can't trust an organization like the US postal service but what is more disheartening is when contacted they don't seem to take it either seriously or with much of an interest. We as a college have notified our students not to use the mail to have anything of value sent. It is a shame that we have to so inform our students but the lack of interest in missing mail by the post office has led us to having no choice.

This sort of error is why we're tested on our knowledge of streets, & attention to detail. Thinking I had a substitute carrier today. Sorted mail in my house box, found 5 letters for parties on parallel street, same address. Big difference between Hanover and Zeno. Helluva goofup. Yep, used to work for P.O. many years ago. Circled address, note to carrier to deliver correct address. I'm disabled or I'd hand deliver. Thank you

I’m constantly getting mail, last three months, that belongs to neighbors with the same house number. Getting tired of delivering mail for the post office. If postal sorting people can’t read get rid of them and hire someone who can. Mail never comes ‘til after dark. What’s up with that? Live in McFarland, WI.

We live in Shorewood, 53705. Lately our mail is not delivered until 6:00 or 7:00 pm. We are old and not able to see in the dark. As the weather gets worse, there will be snow and ice, which is a detriment. I have had a knee replacement and find it difficult to see in the dark.We have no street lights. We used to receive our mail in day time, early afternoon. why has this schedule changed. Please address this problem. Thank you Jean doPico

Wouldn't that be the shippers fault for not making sure the item moves during shipping? I ordered shampoo and conditioner and the shampoo leaked out. There wasn't enough padding in there so it got jostled and some leaked out. The box itself wasn't damaged.
