Our mail person is dislexic or something because they keep trying to deliver our mail down the street to the trailer park and because their is no lot number, they mark it return to sender. My house is North of the park and has no lot number. Happens at least 20 times per year, this time it happened with time sensitive mail which I can not get back so I am now S*&^ out of luck! It is really starting to anger me immensely.
On Saturday, 8/8/20, I was expecting a package delivery. I received a package key in my mailbox (E91), BUT......in the box was a package for lot G-179. I had to go to that person's lot and see if they received my package. They gave me the key to her mailbox, I emptied her mail and she also had a package key. I opened that locker and MY package was in HER box. I lost a package this year due to the mail lady giving my package key to the wrong box. This is so unacceptable!
The people here have never been super friendly and usually don't want to help you unless you ask a bunch of times. I never really cared until I called to ask a simple question about customs as I have a package going through customs right now. Before I could get my question out, I was interrupted multiple times letting me know that my package is not guaranteed, even if it is priority. Before I could get to my question, I was so annoyed by the amount of times I was interrupted and the fact that she clearly was not listening to me that I had to hang up before I even got to my question.
I was not upset that my package did not get there in time, I was simply explaining the situation and why I was calling. My question had nothing to do with that. I think she assumed I called to yell at them which I did not. I send packages to England frequently and I will now be going out of my way to go to a UPS store instead of the Dousman Post Office.
