Why do folks use fedex/ups?: because they deliver and to the correct address. Our regular carrier knew the route and the people so we had fantastic service. She has been off work for a month now and service went downhill. Our current driver doesn't even know what street she is on, much less which mailbox she's at. Continues to mark pkgs on tracking system as delivered at/in mailbox and its not. Or no secure place to leave pkg: too lazy to get out of truck. I have video surveillance of mailbox, driveway and porch........WOULD YOU CONSIDER LOOKING AT MY VIDEOS BEFORE YOU LIE AGAIN?
What the heck is wrong with the sumner post office!! This is the 4th time they have misplaced my packages! Very frustrated! I already filed a complaint with the post office. I don't know why they ask how we would like to be contacted if they don't follow thru!!
I must have the worst USPS worker ever. Missing packages. thrown. crammed. you name it. i work from home an must get a 'sorry we missed you' slip every other package- if it even arrives to begin with!! Shame that the post master does nothing about complaints either. who is the right person to be upset with???
My carrier delivered a package by leaving it on top of my mailbox right off the road. The package was delivered after dark and fortunately was still there in the morning. The package was wet from the rain but at least no one stole it. This has never happened before usually they walk down the driveway and leave it at the front door. Unacceptable but not all that surprising. Use Fedex or UPS the service is much much better.
We just received a package today delivered by one of the Sumner postal carriers. I was home when it was delivered and it was thrown on the front porch by the carrier. On the box were the words "LIQUID FRAGILE" in red. Needless to say the contents were ruined with liquid and broken glass in the box. This is why we prefer to use Fedex and UPS for deliveries. Our US Post Office doesn't care!
$400 worth of packages were never delivered, we have been through a series of efforts to track them down and reorder them. The packages were neverdelievrred due to an unwillingness to do so by the driver on our route. Very very unimpressed that i now cant get anyone to answer the phones.
I'm very tired of this offices unavailable to answer the phone. I call and get only rings until the very I hear screeching noise that causes me to hang up. As I've read I'm not the only who has complained about their phone services and I'm so frustrated that it hasn't been fixed.
So far I am thoroughly unimpressed by this post office. The regular postman is alright. Whoever takes his place on his days off needs to be trained all over again. They are putting mail in the wrong boxes and not delivering other mail. I would have really liked to have my SScard, but of course the post office had to screw that up as well. Thank you, for giving another person the chance to steal my identity!! Sarcasm probably isn't their forte either...
I normally am not one to complain but enough is enough. It's bad enough that my carrier misdelivers my mail on a regular basis to my neighbors and theirs to me, now she is falsifying her attempts to deliver parcels to me. Instead of trying to deliver parcels to me she just takes them back to the post office. Last week I told her I was expecting a parcel and we agreed upon a location to leave the parcel if I wasn't home. I was home at the date and time she listed on her falsified attempt report. She did not even leave me a notice of attempt, I learned of her falsification through the USPS parcel tracking system. My carrier is not only incompetent and lazy appearing to refuse to do any work that requires her to leave her seat in her truck, worst of all she is also a liar.
This post office is horrible. We cannot get the postal delivery person to close the door on our mailbox (neighbors have the same issue), When confronted she gives ridiculous excuses and refuses to close the mailbox doors. Mail gets wet, blows out, etc.
Tried multiple times calling the post office whe works from and they never answer their phone. And they wonder why they are losing business? How about getting rid of these lazy, hired-for-life workers and actually have some accountability.
Their phone number obviously does not work. Rings busy. They have misdelivered my mail OVER AND OVER again. Absolute WORST. I'm beginning to think it's fraud on either the part of workers within the Sumner facility or the actual carrier. If I can't get some kind of answer today I'll just stop and file a police report and the #1 suspect (since I have a locked box) is the carrier.
I called 46 times today and received only rings and no voice mail or human voice. I have been trying to trace and reschedule a package delivery for two weeks and have gotten no where. I went to the PO, they looked for the package, said it wasn't there and that the carrier might have it. The manager said he would call me back. It has been four days and no call back. Unbelievable!
This place is the worst. I have tried to call the manager/supervisor several times. They either just don't answer the phone at all, or when they do, the right person is never available. I actually complained to one of the supervisors, who said he would handle the problem. The next day? Problem still not handled, and now months later it is STILL happening. How is USPS still in business???
worst customer service, have been trying for 2 weeks to get envelopes for my employer. 4 times, they said they would call me back, however not once have i received a phone call. supposedly an order was put thru but they "couldn't find it" they would try to put another order thru. maybe a class on customer service might help.
Worst post office ever. Our mail box key randomly stopped working. Have tried to call the Post Office over 35 times and only get a bust signal or it will ring and ring followed by a loud beep. Can't get into your mail box and can't get our mail. I hope they do shut down this location. I can't believe the poor service. I would avoid this place at all costs! Don't given them a dime of your money.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Any time I have ever had an issue with them they are short with me and very rude and disrespectful. I can't wait until I am able to move out of their service area, they are HORRIBLE. Someone needs to go in there and set a better standard for those employees!
On way home from vacation I stopped to pick up my mail at Sumner Post office.. My held mail was not there.. Supervisor looked twice then told me she couldn't find the place for my address and had to much to do to find my mail.. got home and mail was in my mail box.... What happened to my stop mail???? glad it was a short trip since my mail was out on the street for 4 days!!! Still unhappy with the supervisor attitude about taking to much of her time..0 customer service ...
So I went to the summer post office to mail a small parcel to return a damaged phone. I am poor and had no tape for the top of the box. When I got to this post office I was told I could buy a roll of tape for 3.27 USD. She had tape right next to her. I needed about 10inches of tape max. I was told to use fed ex by the employee who worked there. 0 customer service. All they wanted was to make their dollar. I will never ever use this post office again. I highly recommend nobody use this post office due to the rudeness and their money grubbing nature.
