There is somthing not right at this USPS. Twice I mailed payment checks to my dentist and The dentist did not recievev them. I ended up driving to the dentisdt and made payments in person. Recently, this past week, I was expecting mail from the Washington Secretary of State and I received a e-mail notice that said that the package was too large to be scanned and the image not displayed. Well, the envelope was just beige colored a manila envelope -- approximately 9" x 11.5". I never received it in the mail though. It's been over a week now. Where is my mail???

It’s only been over a year since we’ve moved here from S Tacoma and the amount of mail mis-delivered has been already far more than the 9 plus years we’ve experienced in our previous residence. We should be able to entrust our valued items with you , after all, you are the US Postal Service. If only your delivery people can perform with better, more professional discretion please. Like you, l too am a professional. That is expected out of me, as would be expected from your office. It is with great respect that l write this letter . Thank you.

I had the key in my mailbox to open a Locked parcel box which should have contained my package which had been delivered according to the Post Office. Nope! the package was not there! I do not trust the carriers anymore and I reported this to the Post Office, this carrier over here seems to be either stealing or lying! So what now? Spanaway Post Office needs to pay me for my loss! And they need to investigate what happened to my package. I am so disgusted! Why did the carrier leave a key to an empty parcel locker? He had to have known that I would report it! The Locker was not tampered with. The Post Office better find my package or they should be responsible for paying for the product I never received. They are at fault for hiring dishonest carriers.

Our post lady has been refusing to deliver packages for months. She has been nothing but difficult and nasty. Not sure what we can even do at this point because we filed a complaint and it only got worse.

USPS has been awful for us when it comes to packages … first time someone Banged on our door like it was a break in and hit stuff all along our driveway to their truck and sped off , after we complained they’ve stopped bringing packages to our door or will leave them sitting out away from our porch where rain can pour into the boxes instead of under the covering . Today I watched them drive past our house yo the mail box and marked our package as complications delivering and left a notice … never came to our door and did not leave a note in the mailbox. It’s a pack of diapers - TOO BIG for the mailbox . Just leave our stuff on our porch please - that’s ALL we want . Never experienced poor service with mail before we moved here.

Yesterday I had a family member go pick up a package for me whole I was at work and the idiot post office lady handed MY PACKAGE to a random man and DIDN'T ASK FOR HIS ID to verify the correct name and address!!! She just HANDED my package to some random person!!! Then proceeded to tell my family that 'he come in frequently' and might return it!!!! She took no action to stop him or call him back in! I was then notified by my family what happened and ATTEMPTED 7 CALLS to this office and NO ONE ANSWERED EVERY TIME I CALLED!!! Of course you can't even leave a voicemail the line gets disconnected! These employees are the most careless and unprofessional kind you'll come across. This is fraud and theft and that employee needs to be retrained or terminated if she cannot properly do her job! Serious actions need to be taken here and you need to answer your phones!!!

I have had nothing but issues with USPS in Spanaway, Washington. I had purchased a gift on Etsy for Christmas for my sister who lives in Spanaway. USPS tracking said they had delivered the package to her porch, and it was not there. I immediately started a inquiry to find out what happened, since she did not get the package, we’ll come to find out USPS delivered it to a wrong address (& now they cannot locate the mis-delivered package, legit said “ the package was mis-delivered, they are disappointed to learn my parcel did not arrive at its destination, we must reluctantly conclude that it is irretrievably lost” This was a $50 gift that they lost and Mis-delivered! I have had nothing but issues trying to file a claim on this! Then, a few days later totally different company I had purchased from, a Christmas gift for my newborn niece. They said they placed that in the mailbox- okay so her mailbox is actually one of those lockbox type mailbox so for packages they have to put them into a separate box but USPS leaves the key to that box in your mailbox. That was not left there! So that package is now also not been delivered! It gets better! Spanaway, Washington post office is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of, they never answer their phone. So now I have around $100 (2 packages) just gone! Two packages that they failed to deliver correctly! And I cannot get ahold of them at all!

The post office in Spanaway on 165th and Pacific Avenue has always been a very good post office. I would give this post office a solid A . in the last 40 years I have had problems with them from time to time. I've always been able to work it out. They do change their Post personnel once in awhile and once in awhile they get someone who really just seem doesn't care or is not fit for the job or has a lack of ability in training. Like not figuring out how to lock our multi mailbox. A few times. I've seen a lot of those guys come and Go. As I say the quality of personnel at the office itself is very good most of the time. The main supervisor gets things done and cares a lot he's been with the post office a very long time. I would give this post office a solid A.

I came in Monday 18 May to request our culdesac CBU be placed in service by arrow locks. I was told by your maintenance worker Susan, it would be done by Wednesday (yesterday), she has my address, phone numbers, CBU serial number, and nothing has been done. We are getting mail stolen quite regularly at night. I have contractors on hold waiting to put in a new driveway when the CBU is put in service and the old mailboxes removed. Exactly what is the problem with your customer service?

I'm often missing tracked packages to a locked mailbox. Missing several gift cards from the State as well. This facility has lost/misplaced several packages over the years. I have complained, but management has negative attitude while mine is professional for conflict resolution. Portrayed attitude is they do not care and not their problem. However, two front desk guys have been there forever and the only competent people I've encountered at this location.

Do not call as they never answer the phone. Do not trust what the counter workers verify information on the users of your po box. Do not feel confident in speaking with the station manager as the problem is not resolved after speaking to them several times. Do not worry your mail will continue to be returned and yes you will have to pay shipping again on most packages you would expect delivered to your home address or po box. Do not expect any help from mailman for thefts or closed boxes forcing you to get a po box just to receive your mail. Do not expect to find someone to complain to to make things right...it is just not happening. :(

This is ridiculous, my wait time is 27 to 40 minutes??? This postal service leaves a lot to be desired! I'm trying to talk to someone today about our carrier leaving the po box open, with keys and outgoing mail exposed to anyone taking them. last month 3 pieces of my mail with checks did not make it to their destination, now I am wondering if it was the carrier error!!! I'm not a robot but can't get out of this to submit. UGH!!!!!

This location is always very busy and the line sometimes stretches to the door. They are horribly understaffed, sometimes only having one person at the counter.
