Postal Locations

Hold mail, to be delivered 4/11. No mail. 4/11. No mail 4/12. Called 4/12 at end of day. Clerk said she would check. “Your mail is here. I will put a note on it to deliver tomorrow”. No “I am sorry”, no apologies, no customer service. Next day, 4/13. NO MAIL!!! Of course, office closed, no voice mail, closed Sunday so there will be a call first thing Monday morning!!! So upset!

Since early 2021, We have had a tough time with the Shelton branch of the US Post Office. They have come up with a lot of empty excuses. We have had our mail dropped off at other addresses and parcels returned to the senders. Amazon does not ship to us via US Mail because of the lack of reliable service. There is an investigation into this mess, but not by the USPS. To anyone in this area. Please be careful in using the USPS in our neighbor hood. There could be some fraudulent activity going on in the Shelton Post Office. DO NOT USE THE USPS TO MAIL ANY ELECTION BALLOTS. There seems to be a problem in that facility. We now have some informants that are helping to see who is causing the fraudulent service. We will share the investigation results as soon as the results are available.

No mail since December 24…..

1/5/2022...Why aren't Lake Limerick Country Club customers getting mail service. We have only had mail service 1 day since Christmas. Shelton WA We have seen mail trucks in other areas so why not here? Thank you

They dropped another one of my packages to the wrong addresses yet again. when is it going to stop.

It is a shame that a replacement letter carrier can't be given the information to deliver oversize packages to a neighbor that is close to the mailbox stand AS INSTRUCTED IN THE PAPERWORK I HAD TO FILL OUT FOR IT TO HAPPEN WOULD IT BE A HUGE DEAL TO HAVE A CHART TO GIVE THE TEMP MAILMAN REGARDING OVERSIZE MAIL??? IT WOULD TAKE LESS TIME THAN FILLING OUT AN UNDELIVERABLE SLIP THE MAILMAN COULD MAKE A CHECK OF THE CHART WHEN HE HAS A PACKAGE TOO LARGE FOR THE MAILBOX AND THE ADDRESS IS TOO FAR AWAY FROM THE BOX Gary Barber

I had a package out for delivery to 651 SE Dawnview Drive E-Bay says it is being returned to shipper?

Our regular mail carrier is fabulous but there must be someone new delivering packages as I am repeatedly getting messages that they are unable to deliver my package. One even said our driveway was blocked (it was shoveled and there was room in both driveways for a mail truck all day). We are missing packages. The last two times I got a message they were unable to deliver a package there were small packages delivered in my regular mail box and deliveries by other carriers on my porch. Where are my missing packages? Neither are anything someone would want to steal.

Postmaster, I'm sure you get many complaints. I would however like to complement you for recently improving service to the Agate area. I often get my mail by early afternoon now. Thanks.

Mailed out packages mid-day last week and the PostalServiceguy was wonderful. I advised him of this a couple of times. Very polite and efficient and so nice. I am originally from Indianapolis In and the Post Offices Employees where I went to were Always rude, hateful pre-occupied, and extremely slow. I appreciated my experience with SHELTON POST OFFICE, Also our mail carrier out here on Story Rd is Marvelous with bring our packages down our Drive and placing them on the porch in front of the door. Why is our mail delivered after 7pm lately and put in wrong mail box? Holiday here need consistent delivery!!

If you love your mail damaged or never received this is the post office for ya. Numerous times the postman has just shoved packages into our mailbox so tight that i cannot open the lock. Or the mail ends up completely broken. Other times we get notifications a package arrived but the mailbox is empty. Just a joke

I smiled at a lady mail carrier this past week and she honked her horn at me. I hope to see her again. please tell her that her honks made my day.

I've tried contacting the post office every daythis week, multiple times a day and nobody can be bothered to answer the phone. I just called again and let it ring for 3 minutes thinking someone might eventually get tired of listening to it. nope. They say they delivered a personal care package for me last friday at 5:43pm yet I don't have it. interesting how for the last three months I've ordered tons of stuff online and everything has been delivered, yet this personal package is the one that is missing. And none of my other mail has been missing. And none of my neighbors have it. Thanks for the help, USPS. Wonder how you would feel if this were you? Why would you fu#*ing care?

I'm going to have to pay for a PO Box because my delivery person is so lame, she/he can not bother to close the mail box after they put mail inside. That or they want my mail to be stolen! I have to watch for the mail truck if I'm expecting anything important, so I see this done on a regular basis. Also, they are so lazy, they just lean on my mailbox and its now getting warped. My "US Post Office" mailbox. I can see why they should discontinued.

My mail and packages are delivered to 180 East Osprey Lane..I have no problems with regular mail but we now have a new carrier who only leaves packages by my garage which is not safe..They must be left at our front door. Please notify her of this Pam Horner

In all the years I've lived in town, I've never had a delivery compliant. The postal carrier always brought packages to our door if they couldn't fit in the box. Now that I'm living outside of town, I have PO Box. Whenever I go to the Post Office to get mail and packages, I'm always treated kindly by the postal workers.

I can't find a place to make a complaint, so I am putting it here until I find one. Last Saturday our mail didn't come until after 5. I realize things do come up, however....I watched the mail truck pull up to my box, and it was there longer than normal. Since there have been times when packages have been so crammed in there that it it very challenging to get it out, so I wondered if that was the case this time. After it left, I walked down to get our mail. Much to my surprise, there was a package notice (must have been filling it out, took more time). On the paper it said, box (?) too large, and the dog. So, I was standing in my yard watching the vehicle, it NEVER drove up my driveway. I find that it is often a sub driver when our mail comes so late (it usually arrives around 1ish), and when there are issues. I don't appreciate someone lying and blaming my dog for their laziness, which I am sure is part of the issue, on top of being extremely late and trying to make up time???? This is so unprofessional....also, when they do come up the driveway we are often home, but our dog is outside. A simple horn honk would bring us out....no wonder they are trying to get rid of the P.O.,

People, this is NOT the USPS Shelton office site. There is even a disclaimer on the bottom of the page. Pay ATTENTION! There is nothing that will be done with you asking something to happen here This site is independent. Have an issue? Do what I did, repeatedly, call the postmaster and be firm but professional. I used to have a delivery person that not only consistently put my mail in the wrong box but also gave me the mail from others. She was an absolute idiot. On top of that she wouldn't ever bring packages to my house because she claimed no place to turn around and that they aren't supposed to back up. Nonsense. I got her pulled from our route. Carriers can either do their jobs competently or they can lose their jobs. Complain enough to your postmaster and something will happen.

Ordered a parcel online. Tracking number shows it arrived at Shelton office ... where it disappeared. Was informed that there is no carrier assigned to my route (really? I live IN town...) so there is no way to know who delivers my mail from day-to-day. This is the second such incident I've had. It's frustrating enough to have something lost in the mail, especially when they are tracked, but the personnel there treat customers with problems as though we are at fault, not them.

Lost a precious package of mementos. Tracking showed the package never left the Shelton building! Followed all appropriate routes, tracked it for months, filed a notice with usps, to no avail. Precious memories lost forever, in some ditch or woods, buried.......

Dec. 15 &16 Whoever has been delivering our mail must be in a hurry, because he has been going well over the posted speed limit. We do have children in our community that could get hurt. Please ask him to slow down. Thank you

I order quite a number of items on the Internet ...somehow our post person leaves my packages at someone else's address...this is not acceptable! My address is 1603 South 3rd St, Shelton, WA 98584 A lady who lives at 1605. She has been kind enough to bring me my Packages. Thankfully She is honest. If my purchases are delivered to the wrong Address someone else may not be as honest and could easily keep my purchases! This would cause me more stress than I want to go through. I have a heart condition and would like my mailbox moved to the front of my home, not up the street....Please inform the mail person WH delivers my area to read the labels more Carefully. I do not want to have this happen again.they have their job to do...do it correctly please.

I have a fedex tracking receipt that shows a package delivered on a particular day, however the shipper omitted the box number. It took two weeks before they called and asked if it was my package. I can't imagine there are that many people with my same name in the same small town, each with a po box. I used to really like and respect the workers at this office. Now, not so much.
