My husband and I stayed home on Sunday waiting for a holiday present to arrive. He received a text from Amazon that the package could not be delivered because no one was there to receive it? That's odd. No truck came to the house, no one knocked on our door, no slip was left on our door. But that's what the message said. We went and checked our mailbox, nothing. How is it possible for the postman to claim we were not home to receive the delievery? This is absolutely absurd! And now, one of us will have to leave work early to try to get to the post office on a weeknight. Thank you for nothing. This is why I use FedEx and UPS.
This is rediculus I tried to call at 4;30 on Thursday 9/816 and your phone # said that you closed at this time when you are supposed to be open My post man didn't show up today I have never seen this before what is going on? I am waiting for a check and I am leaving on Friday and I want my mail today not my fault whatever happened to him but you should have someone to take his place I am going to raise a complaint against you the manager as I think you are incapable of running your position the proper way like you are supposed to be opened right now but you are not so you are being reported
I just called during their normal business hours and the recording says they're closed! I called the Sumner Post Office to ask why this is and they said that the South Hill Post office forgets to turn their phones on sometimes. This is extremely frustrating!
I get the same thing over and over, "call back during business hours" My problem is they delivered a package to the wrong address evidently. The note in tracking said they left it in the reception area or front desk. It was to be delivered to a house, there is no front desk or reception area. I called the 1-800 number 2 days ago and they were going to have someone contact me. Never heard from anyone so I called the 800 number again and she said someone should contact me in 2 days. Would have been nice if the post office would have at least called to let me know they are working on it.
I tried calling today during the office hours and all I got was the recording. I also tried to fax in regards to a package……which they ended up sending back to me!! I tried emailing a couple of days ago using the contact us by email but couldn't use the program because you need a number from the left package notice which couldn't be left at the location because there was no suite number on the address. I was trying to get in touch with someone to give them the suite number but there was no way of contacting anyone!!! I will not use the post office anymore for sending mail. It is awful.
I have been calling the post office now for three days and nobody seems to want to turn the phones over. All I get is the recording about hour their open and tells me to call back during business hours. YES I am calling during the hours that are posted. Is it any wonder why the usps is going broke. I rather pay extra and know I can atleast talk to someone about a package.
