Why does the post office on 1st street not answer the phone. It is not a service to the people to make them drive to the post office , when they could be served by phone.

The mail man that does his routes on the west end down on the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe on Friday, July 17, 2020 (07/17/2020) about 11:50 a.m. I was outside at my car when the mail man did NOT STOP to drop the mail at my father's or his neighbors! I totally understood why he had done that when I had my car totally in the way before, but of course I moved my car out of the way, I left enough space to where he could pull his car up to both mail boxes easily! Instead the guy put a smile on his face that looked as if it was painful, with a slight hand gesture. The guy totally ignored me when I confronted him on passing up my father's and my father's neighbor and sped off!

Dominic was the person we spoke to from our ship here in P.A. We had concerns we had about getting an important package, but didn't have the full tracking number. With the information we gave him, he took the time to look for it to see if it had been delivered...in spite of it being near closing time for them. He was very kind and helpful when most people might not have been under those circumstances. Thanks again Dominic!

Just wondering why the mail delivery to lower Mount Pleasant is so late towards evening now. I'm not as young or mobile as I used to be and it's an inconvenience to have to go down to main road to get mail after dinner time so that it isn't sitting in the box overnight. It used to come between 11:00 and 1:00.. ?

My husband and I have lived on O'Brien Road for more than 20 years. During that time we have observed professional behavior by all of the postal employees with whom we've had contact. It's unfortunate that there are so many negative reviews. Yours is a thankless job with a great deal of pressure. Just working for such a huge bureaucracy is hard enough and then to add negative feedback fuels discontent.

For the last 3 years, and my landlord tells me actually 4, the rural postal workers that deliver to Barr Road, refuse to go off road to deliver packages. IMO this shows the lazy type of workers that the PA post office employs. Especially since UPS now has the service that internet vendors use for free delivery, where UPS delivers the packages to USPS and they refuse to deliver them to my home. The PA rural deliverers say there is no turn around at our location. Funny UPS, Fed-Ex, the bulk propane tank, ambulances, gravel trucks etc. have no problem - but the IMO lazy USPS driver cannot turn around his little jeep. I have no respect for this USPS office and refuse to use postal delivery unless I absolutely have to - thus denying them what income I can. And I am once again disgusted at the way governmental departments treat the citizens that pay their wages.

This is the third time, during business hours, that I’ve gotten a recording that told me to call back during business hours. Then, it said the mailbox was full. I have information to relate but apparently no one is home.

For over 30 years I have lived at the same property and never had a problem with our service until the last 6 months. For those of us who live in the country, having packages delivered to our homes, has gotten very difficult. We have proof honesty is not the forte of our person that delivers our mail. I am saddened to find out the call center backs up these lies. Shame on all of you that work for the USPS that condone this. I have to say God will judge them. I am embarrassed for you, and you know who you are.

Is no one getting any mail today?! Here it is 1415 and I have it on good authority that something is coming in the mail today! Good thing that I am not trying to run a business! The working day is less than three hours from being done and no mail! That's a problem! USPS can't go out of business soon enough! I'll be sure and let my elected officials know that!

Lazy and inefficient!!! My mail man for uphill drive needs to be fired for his laziness not to simply put my package in the mail box like he has multiple other times and make my day hell trying to track it down and pick it up myself only until it was to late and the office was closed. I pay $100 for fast shipping and our local postal service are poor excuses for ups men. I hate when my packages are handed over to the local postal service for delivery because you never know when it's going to show up. Shame on you guys hire better men that know how deliver packages in the mail box or front step on the day they get them!
