TO BE FAIR: I've had two USPS packages that have tracking number delivery verification, THAT WERE NOT DELIVERED. The most recent was yesterday.
The first time it happened, I did the missing package process on the USPS website. Within a day I got a call from the local office asking me if I could please just call them direct in the future because going through the website "creates all sorts of problems" for them. I said I would.
Yesterday, when a second package delivery failed to show, I had to call the local Pasco number 4 times before anyone answered. The first three were all hang-ups. The fourth call was answered by a brand new manager who, to her credit, came out personally to look in the locked boxes for out cul-de-sac. I give them props for having someone willing to come out and be responsible, but we did not find the package in any other box. She was going to work today and see what she could find out, but I have not heard from her, and there is no answer ...... again.
It's very frustrating.
Very unprofessional! the phone # that is posted for Pasco is NEVER ANSWERED! If it is picked up, it is then immediately hung up!! If there is a problem with delivering the mail due to weather, then they should at least POST IT ON THEIR WEBSITE, or have it mentioned on the news!!! I wonder how they would like it if their employer picked and chose when they got paid!
I called but no one answered the phone. My mail was stolen from my mailbox last Saturday. I purchased a locking box as suggested by my police department officer. I need assistance with the placement of the box and was told by the Kennewick p.o. that Pasco would assist me but guess I will not get assistance if no one picks up the phone.
I live in Kennewick. Lately we have been getting other peoples mail, and other people have been getting ours. I have never had a problem with this, until the past couple of months. I am wondering what the hell I can do. This is extremely inconvenient, and troublesome to me. Does my mail carrier need glasses, or is he or she, just in way too much of a hurry? I need them to be more careful with something as important as the mail.
