Apparently my rural carrier out of Medical Lake Post Office refuses to deliver my Amazon packages and I have to pick them up from the Post Office Tracking numbers 9361289732010055671072 and 9361289732010054352606
The Medical Lake post office is ridiculous. Mail is constantly misplaced, we get mail notification slips claiming the mailman attempted to deliver something to us twice and this would be the final notice to pick it up when we can prove the mailman didn’t stop by once to deliver anything (we are home and have surveillance with motion detection). Now they shoved an important liquid medication that arrives with ice packs and is identified as “rush” and “perishable” into the metal package slot out by the streets where it remained for 3 days and spoiled in the heat. We get email notices about mail awaiting us but the medication somehow missed to be announced. Called the post office and after the “post master” finally picks up the phone (didn’t even know the day of the week or properly introduced herself) we get nothing but excuses why it is not their fault instead of an apology and understanding of our concern and a promise to try better. They fail on every level to show themselves competent or even pretend to care. Very disappointed. We notified the pharmacy and they will avoid sending anything thru USPS again and opt for FedEx or UPS instead.
I think we have a new-ish mail carrier that is a lazy muppet. I had two cabinets (yes, wall mounted cabinets) that were supposed to be delivered today. The notification via Amazon was the carrier stated the "Mailbox was full"...
No, the mailbox was not full. No, two wall mounted cabinets will NOT fit into any mailbox.
We WERE HOME, but didn't notice the postman. The former/regular postman is a rockstar..he leaves items on the back porch and all is good.
I will phone to talk to the boss on Monday.
***haha...the two cabinets I ordered won't fit in a postbox....no sh*t...fecking lazy sod***
Very disappointing. Our carrier makes no effort to do anything outside of regular delivery to our box. We received notice of certified mail. we were home when notice was just shoved in our box with no attempt to deliver. We filled out the form with signature and left on door as directed. I sat and watched the carrier once again pull up to the box and drive off - no attempt to redeliver.
When you call the post office no one answers.
I've been calling for DAYS now trying to get someone to pickup a phone to ask a few questions and it doesn't matter what time of day i call NO ONE will pick up their phone. My ONLY option is to go down there and i work the hours they're open so I guess miss work too and hope it's worth it, that they can do what I need and not just a waste of my time. Thanks for small town hospitality, JK
My neighbors & I are experiencing major issues with mail not being delivered daily, showing up at unusual hours or late into the evening, or sometimes not at all. Some aren't getting medications in time which has some pretty upset. Please look into this for us. Thank you!!
Have the mail carriers for this facility been placed on furlough status, because of the ongoing partial government shutdown? It's been well over a week since we've received any mail in the Strathview Housing area. No... we haven't requested any/all mail be held for pickup. If you can... please advise. Thank you.
During a Holiday Season, you would think that the Medical Lake Post Office would anticipate higher traffic and more counter availability need, but I have been down there twice on my lunch hour, and there are only 2 working the whole station, and the 2nd worker took their lunch at the same time everyone else in the world was taking theirs to come to the post office? Seriously poor planning. And then, all the small townsfolk want to share personal conversations with the counter people - and the counter people will have a line out the door, and they still reciprocate the conversation!?! Horrible customer service.
Sans the 'line', that's fine during slow/normal days of year, but during a holiday/rush - do your business and get out. Also Worker should memorize the following mantra - "I'm sorry *name here*, I can't talk right now. Have a great day. NEXT!" Ridiculous!!! Merry Christmas? More like Baahumbug...
On normal days of year, their office closes at 4:30pm... and the worker will be standing there at the door at 4:27 with keys in hand glancing at the clock. As soon as their second hand hits the twelve, they lock the door. Is there no flexibility anymore?
