Our neighborhood's mail lady refuses to deliver my neighbors and I mail frequently. Today she slowed down stared at me as I was getting in my car and drove off without delivering our mail. Then marked my package as "unknown addressee". She also picked up our cat, knocked on our door and told my 14yr old autistic son that since she's not wearing a collar she's technically a stray and she's going to adopt her. Now my son's terrified the mail lady is going to steal our cat. Our cat is microchipped but she rips off collars.

This location (98204) has refused to deliver packages to our apartment for over TWO YEARS, places pink deliver slips on outside of mailbox (promoting theft, as anyone can take the slip and pick up my package), forces customers to show ID in order to pick up our mail (4th amendment violation), do not answer phone calls, and one of the female public servants told me that I am not allowed to have my service dog in the public areas (twice). They SUCK big fat harry balls!

My fiancé and I went in to get pur passports for the first time and I just wanted to say that Giao knows her stuff!! She quick and to the point. As long as you have your stuff ready (as you should, don't waste other people's time) she's on the ball. We were in and out in a flash. Our appointment was at 11 and we were out of there by 11:10a. Even with her having to take my picture again because Walgreens didn't do it right. Thank you Giao! I was back to work in no time at all!!

For over two years my mail shows up in my box every other day. Sometimes at 3:00 and sometimes after 7:00. You have an elderly postal carrier on what seems to be a long hard walking route. Why am I denied daily service? Your service is a joke.

I rented a postal PO box (small). The night before I was going to reserve it and the quote was 71.00 for six months. The next morning Jan. 10, 22 when I went to the Hoyt Post Office, it was now 91.00. I would notice later that 6 months for them is 20 days for one of the months because they charged me for all of Jan when I only got 20 days. It's the principle of it! Plus, I sat my little change purse down and got distracted when the clerk disappeared for nearly 20 minutes it felt like (I guess looking for a key??) and my little purse disappeared. It only had 3.00 in it but the little change purse was my dead mother's and can't be replaced. Now to find they ripped me off to boot and she probably has my mom's change purse just makes me want to cry. I am going to go there and oh the line is always as if it is Christmas I have NO idea why, probably because all of our orders are dumped wherever and so we have to pay for a special locked box to insure we get it. Home delivery is no longer safe. Halp!

Our mail carrier this morning (3/26/2021 - 9:30) tossed a package on my front porch. He didn’t handle it with care. He also didn’t even ring the doorbell to let me know there had been something dropped off. Is this normal?! People get a lot of packages stolen off porches. Ringing the doorbell would be courteous.

I was waiting for someone with an appointment at Providence Oncology Monday morning and witnessed a mail carrier going to his mouth before sorting mail for the next house as he walked, I assumed to wet his fingers. Not a good practice at this time or ever.

I got a complaint from a customer today, who entered the building and saw our mail carrier delivering mail to the business PO boxes. She was not wearing a mask. We have clearly visible postings on every door in compliance with the Governors mask mandate stating that everyone entering the public space MUST wear a mask. We have strict mask requirements for anyone entering our office that masks must be worn, and our ability to stay open and serve our clients is dependent on keeping transmission rates down. Any of the businesses in the Everett Public Market would have gladly provided her with a disposable mask if she'd asked for one. We're doing our best to keep people safe, and ask that ALL employees of the USPS support these efforts.

Terrible delivery service. Had two photo's 8.5 X 11 shipped to me. They arrived damaged. Because the carrier bent the photos forcing the large envelope into my normal sized mailbox.Carrier was too lazy to leave envelope on the front porch. So photo's are damaged because driver is too lazy to leave the photo envelope on the front porch. Envelope said.... DO NOT BEND. This damage cost $20.00. Do they care? Apparently not. This happened 9/11/2020. 10:30 am by the lazy Gov. Worker. That's why drones are going to replace them soon. Putting a square peg into a found hole that is too small. Is no excuse to terrorize online product mail to residents. Photo's were perfect. Until the second the carrier decided at 10:30 am to do the wrong thing out of laziness. I wish it was legal to slap people in the face. This carrier needs it. Or they need to pay for the damage out of their bank account.

I am beyond appalled at that system we call USPS and the fact that we allow them to be in control of our private information. I used to be an avid supporter of USPS. No longer. My business will pay more and use UPS or Fedex. At least there customer service understand policy's and are not rude to customers to cover for the fact they approved illegal acts. And yes America you can just remove a USPS post box per Supervisor Patrick melomey at the Everett Hoyt office and not get in trouble at least if he is involved. Patrick you need to learn some social skills.

We have not had anyone pick up the mail at 1314 26th St Everett for three days now. This is not the first time we've had the problem. We also have not received any mail which is almost an inconceivable as a business we get mail every day. On one of the days in question I could see the postal truck parked right in front of the building with the female postal worker sitting in it eating something. I thought ok she'll be in to pick things up in a minute but she never did she just drove off.

Worst post office probably in the world. All Asians work there and don't sort the mail until calls are made to complain. The Asian workers there mostly talk about their upcoming lunch hours. The outside mail bends are always over-flowing and rarely picked up. We usually have to make about 3 trips a day to beg for our daily mail, its never in the P.O. Box, I have to go stand in line and beg for our mail. The other employees whom have blue hair don't care either. They need an entire new staff with supervisors available to make sure the work gets done. Always pan - handlers begging people for money there too at every entrance and corner.

post office employee Patrick Melomey was extremely rude to me today. after i tracked my package to the post office and it was signed for he shunned me and blew me off saying my package would "eventually" get there. i asked for his supervisor. he responded he is the super and that he was "law". i asked for the person above him and he said some name quickly at which time i asked him to spell that. he ignored me and began demanding i leave the building and simply tried to speak with the patron behind me as if i wasn't there. then he slung his identification in my face when i asked his name and he continued to ignore me, but i demaned his name and said his i.d. was hidden from the public under his shirt. this Patrick Melomey, at the Everett, WA location on Hoyt Ave. is a bad person with even worse customer service skills

I rarely post negative remarks, but today's experience was over the top horrible at Hoyt location. During lunch hour only one PO employee was stationed at the counter with a line nearly out the door. It was a very long wait to get to the counter. Once there, I noticed the envelope I was sending had a small tear on the seal. I asked the clerk if she could put a small, 2 inch piece of tape on the seal, since it was going all the way to Canada. Her response was to point to where the wrapping tape is sold, and said, "You need to get out of line and go get tape to buy, then you get back in line again." I tried to explain that I only needed a small bit of scotch tape, but she simply waved me to get away from her counter. I later shared this story with a friend, who works at a local post office closer to my home, and she said the Hoyt Post Office in Everett has a terrible, terrible reputation for very poor customer service.

He said it was $59.75 and I told him I ship here all the time and his customer service was so poor to me like he didn't even care or wouldn't double check it. This is NOT my first time going there but I swear to God I will NEVER return there again. I have been in customer service for over 25 years as a professional and I have to say ALL the employees that I have ever encountered at that office have been rude, can't communicate well like Jessie in English, bad attitudes and should NEVER represent the FACE OF THE POSTAL SYSTEM. This manager at the Everett Hoyt Branch has got to be the lousiest manager that I have ever met. As the rest of you have stated he is very dismissive, hostile, and defensive person I have ever met that tend to refuse to listen nor truthfully investigate customer complaints regarding issues with not receiving packages. My entire family has spoken to the manager which I use loosely because he only manages to ignore customer complaints when the majority of us are seeking solutions to solve our delivery issues. This is an open letter to all residents that have had difficulty with the Everett Hoyt Post Office to contact me at for us to organize and get assistance to resolve our issues with this manager/post office. My goal is to get the District Manager involved, but first we must organize to do this and have an effective campaign for real change in management and if need be carriers as well that take their jobs seriously. Please email me so that I can organize a local meeting for 30-50 residents to meet and discuss strategies for change at Hoyt Everett Post office .

Dumbest poorly trained the state by their mail box habits.
We still get the wrong mail.
We call and call to no avail to correct this twice someone has come out to replace our check our name at the back of the inside of our mail-box and replace it.
They keep blaming temps except there is no apt. # on the wrong mail, this is a huge complex. How would a temp keep putting the same old tenant's mail in our mail-box and know they had lived they there once?
We have been here six months.

Absolute worst post office I have ever been to. I unfortunately go to this location at least once a
week to ship out packages for my self-owned business. Most of the workers act as if you are a total burden on them. They treat you as if you are stupid or incompetent for not completing the correct forms (when the forms are not even stocked...) I usually ask for extra forms so that I can go restock them myself on the way out so that others don't run into the same problem. I've overheard people ask the
workers questions and simply be ignored and walked away from. Completely disrespectful treatment of customers. Rick in particular is one of the rudest, most aloft people I have ever run into as a customer, at any business I have ever been to. He throws packages around in front of customers, with total disregard to the contents. I hope he only works in the front because I can only imagine how careless he is with packages if he didn't have customers watching him. I have had packages damaged by this office as well. When I went to pick up an incredibly expensive package from the office (since I was not home and able
to sign for it), there was a huge gash in the side of the box. The worker (who was Rick once again), dropped the box on the counter in front of me and asked me to sign. It was a huge gash on the package so I asked him where I would go to file a claim if the gash had also damaged the contents. He gave me an extremely annoyed look and suggested I looked to see if anything was even damaged before I ask where to file a claim..... so helpful of him.. All in all this is a terrible post office. If you can go somewhere else, please do. I might have to start driving quite a bit out of my way just to avoid dealing with these
people.

I've been using USPS for over 5 years. this specific USPS has POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I sent out a package to the city within my own state and the lady didn't want to do one thing at a time so she mixed up my package with a previous customer's. so my package was sent to a different state across the country. I talked to the supervisor a week later she said she'll give me a call to update and what not and its been a month or more now and she hasn't contacted me. I mean the value of the package is nothing but just the fact, they wasted MY TIME. now I HAVE TO GO IN THERE AGAIN to file a claim and wait another 30 days....... forget that!!ALSO, I live by this location so I'm not sure if this location is the one (im pretty sure it is) that goes out and give my neighbor our mails/packages but they need to take their time and review each mail/package before putting it in the mailbox because they missed place my packages, (Yes more than one time) to a different house. good thing i live in a good neighborhood.OVERALL, I WILL NEVER USE USPS AGAIN. Will be changing to UPS!!
