I rarely post negative remarks, but today's experience was over the top horrible at Hoyt location. During lunch hour only one PO employee was stationed at the counter with a line nearly out the door. It was a very long wait to get to the counter. Once there, I noticed the envelope I was sending had a small tear on the seal. I asked the clerk if she could put a small, 2 inch piece of tape on the seal, since it was going all the way to Canada. Her response was to point to where the wrapping tape is sold, and said, "You need to get out of line and go get tape to buy, then you get back in line again." I tried to explain that I only needed a small bit of scotch tape, but she simply waved me to get away from her counter. I later shared this story with a friend, who works at a local post office closer to my home, and she said the Hoyt Post Office in Everett has a terrible, terrible reputation for very poor customer service.
Lost my package, I kept calling different numbers to find where my package was, been on phone at least 15 hours total - God they are the most uneducated people on earth. By the time they told me to file my claim it was too late. Now 6 months later same thing. I already spent at least 5 hours on the phone and my package is who knows whrere. Am I going to lose my money again?
I was just at the EVERETT WA POST OFFICE ON HOYT AVENUE and "JESSIE" gave me the wrong pricing on my package to ship. He said it was $59.75 and I told him I ship here all the time and his customer service was so poor to me like he didn't even care or wouldn't double check it. This is NOT my first time going there but I swear to God I will NEVER return there again. I have been in customer service for over 25 years as a professional and I have to say ALL the employees that I have ever encountered at that office have been rude, can't communicate well like Jessie in English, bad attitudes and should NEVER represent the FACE OF THE POSTAL SYSTEM. They are the first hand reps for USPS !! Ridiculous !!!
Our mail comes every time after 5pm! And that's if they even decide to deliver that day!!! We went 3 days with no mail service on our block! Today a package was to be delivered . out for delivery their site says....its now 5:55pm and NO mailman!!! I'll be filing a formal complaint tomorrow! This is ridiculous!!!!
THIS IS THE WORST POST OFFICE EVER!! I have never had so many problems with a postal service. Carriers are rude and what seems to be lazy. They discontinue service without any type of notice, then when you call the office to verify why you’re put on hold for long periods, and transferred several times before you get the lousy condescending manager. I WILL BE FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT!!
This manager at the Everett Hoyt Branch has got to be the lousiest manager that I have ever met. As the rest of you have stated he is very dismissive, hostile, and defensive person I have ever met that tend to refuse to listen nor truthfully investigate customer complaints regarding issues with not receiving packages. My entire family has spoken to the manager which I use loosely because he only manages to ignore customer complaints when the majority of us are seeking solutions to solve our delivery issues. This is an open letter to all residents that have had difficulty with the Everett Hoyt Post Office to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for us to organize and get assistance to resolve our issues with this manager/post office. My goal is to get the District Manager involved, but first we must organize to do this and have an effective campaign for real change in management and if need be carriers as well that take their jobs seriously. Please email me so that I can organize a local meeting for 30-50 residents to meet and discuss strategies for change at Hoyt Everett Post office .
Dumbest poorly trained the state by their mail box habits. We still get the wrong mail. We call and call to no avail to correct this twice someone has come out to replace our check our name at the back of the inside of our mail-box and replace it. They keep blaming temps except there is no apt. # on the wrong mail, this is a huge complex. How would a temp keep putting the same old tenant's mail in our mail-box and know they had lived they there once? We have been here six months.
Absolute worst post office I have ever been to. I unfortunately go to this location at least once a week to ship out packages for my self-owned business. Most of the workers act as if you are a total burden on them. They treat you as if you are stupid or incompetent for not completing the correct forms (when the forms are not even stocked...) I usually ask for extra forms so that I can go restock them myself on the way out so that others don't run into the same problem. I've overheard people ask the workers questions and simply be ignored and walked away from. Completely disrespectful treatment of customers. Rick in particular is one of the rudest, most aloft people I have ever run into as a customer, at any business I have ever been to. He throws packages around in front of customers, with total disregard to the contents. I hope he only works in the front because I can only imagine how careless he is with packages if he didn't have customers watching him. I have had packages damaged by this office as well. When I went to pick up an incredibly expensive package from the office (since I was not home and able to sign for it), there was a huge gash in the side of the box. The worker (who was Rick once again), dropped the box on the counter in front of me and asked me to sign. It was a huge gash on the package so I asked him where I would go to file a claim if the gash had also damaged the contents. He gave me an extremely annoyed look and suggested I looked to see if anything was even damaged before I ask where to file a claim..... so helpful of him.. All in all this is a terrible post office. If you can go somewhere else, please do. I might have to start driving quite a bit out of my way just to avoid dealing with these people.
The WORSE post office I have ever been anywhere in the U.S. Slowest and rudest customer service. They act like doing business is a burden to them. I DESPISE going here. Wish there was another post office in everett.
Recent package shipped. One of a kind art work. The box was punctured in three place and a piece was broken off and missing upon delivery. What kind of inconsiderate baboons do they have working there? Not sure where during the journey this occurred, it just shouldn't happen. Insurance doesn't matter when it's one of a kind.
It would be lovely if ALL of the office hours specified so very clearly on the site were, in fact, the correct hours. Unless, of course, the employees just don't care to unlock the lobby doors at 5A.M.
I've been using USPS for over 5 years. this specific USPS has POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I sent out a package to the city within my own state and the lady didn't want to do one thing at a time so she mixed up my package with a previous customer's. so my package was sent to a different state across the country. I talked to the supervisor a week later she said she'll give me a call to update and what not and its been a month or more now and she hasn't contacted me. I mean the value of the package is nothing but just the fact, they wasted MY TIME. now I HAVE TO GO IN THERE AGAIN to file a claim and wait another 30 days....... forget that!!ALSO, I live by this location so I'm not sure if this location is the one (im pretty sure it is) that goes out and give my neighbor our mails/packages but they need to take their time and review each mail/package before putting it in the mailbox because they missed place my packages, (Yes more than one time) to a different house. good thing i live in a good neighborhood.OVERALL, I WILL NEVER USE USPS AGAIN. Will be changing to UPS!!
Yea its true. I said that to myself never again going to USPS but honestly r they are the cheapest now a days. We should be glad post office still around. Whos company will fly to deliver your package that cheap. Think about it. Forty nice cents to fly for your first class mail...UPS you think they would do that for you????
• Replied to don't use this location
Terrible, terrible post office. Rude staff, slow passport services and they lost 2 out 3 packages I had going through this office.
