Mail theft in our area has increased, including in love card mail boxes. I decided to purchase a PO Box, which has worked great, with one caveat: the lobby hours lol stead as 24 hours but they actually lock the doors at night, which makes it difficult for those working long hours to get our mail on our way home from work. This is a bit of an inconvenience.

While everyone in our neighborhood is accustomed to getting mail intended for others we have a new issue that has cropped up. normally I mark "not at this address" if address is correct and drop back in the mail but lately the mail delivery person has taken to just dropping it back in my mailbox.....as if this was a game to see how quickly we get upset. My only choice is to start recycling it unless the USPS wants to begin paying me to a do a job that cannot (for whatever reason) be done right the first time. I get this is a busy time of year and all but when it is marked "Return to sender", "not at this address" or "delivered to incorrect address" I do NOT expect to see it back in my mail.

So tired of my mail carrier putting mail in other boxes. I have lost hundreds of dollars in missing packages and am told to just open a claim. Again today I received neighbors package and missing 6 packages that say they were delivered.
