The Falmouth post office is HORRIBLE. Marking packages as undeliverable to my home is a lie. considering I have cameras in front of my home and they did not ONCE alert me of someone being anywhere near my home at the time you supposedly attempted to drop my package off. Yet and still nothing will be done about it because there never is... ridiculous

Same thing happened to me on Saturday! She got out and delivered the neighbors package and went right by my house! we were outside when she delivered at 33o and at 710 when she "tried to deliver our package" there aparently was an animal interference. That's bs because our dog is not allowed out front and we were doing yard work!!!!

My dissatisfaction with Mail delivery to my home is an issue for several years. I use the USPS tracker for the few things I do get through the Mail. Now I know there are several days I don’t receive the items that I should receive or I get only part of the delivery. Saturday, April 17, 2021 I should have received 4 pieces of Mail. I received None of the items nor were they delivered on Monday, April 19. I don’t use the USPS for things I can get delivered in other ways due to the lack of certainty I will receive the items. BUT I do get Mail addressed to other names or addresses so that makes me certain my Mail is most likely delivered to somewhere other than my mailbox. What happened to the “motto” the Mail will be delivered in rain, sleet..etc! I guess that doesn’t cover to the correct address!

Where is my package the notification says “delivered in mailbox on the 17th “ I have yet to receive my package . I went to the local post office to be told that the package hasn’t shipped yet . It’s from Amazon how do you know it hasn’t shipped . Are your postal carriers just making up things to tell people when they come to the window? This is the second time y’all have lost my stuff and hasn’t paid for it !!! Fix this issue now!!

Sounds like a problem with Amazon to me. They use independent couriers, not USPS. Been like that for a while.

The Post Office tracking system reported my package delivered. It was not in my mailbox. A second check showed the package was at the local post office for pickup. Where is my package and when will it be delivered?

We have not gotten mail for 4 days!!!!!!!!!! This has been going on for months now!!!!! Our service has been bad for a year now!!!!!!!! How are we suppose to run a business without getting mail, Invoices, and receiving checks!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is unacceptable !!!! A box was attempted to deliver today Jan 27 that was large and will not fit in the mail box, your driver did not even get out of his or her truck they did not even ring the door bell so I am I suppose to know the package was even here, I am up every day at 6:30 am they tried to deliver at 7:18 AM Are your drivers and staff that stupid that they cant ring a door bell I would gladly go the truck and pick it up as it was a 40 pound box. Not a happy customer

The Falmouth VA Postal service is the worse, i used phone system to set a re delivery 2 days ago for delivery today and today 1/29/2021 the driver dropped mail in box turned her head and pulled away before I could even speak to her, you cant reach anyone on the phone in Falmouth and the 800 number is useless, this is relate to a box the driver was to lazy to get out of the truck and ring the door bell saying they attempted and the box was full this is large box so guess what it will not fit i would gladly pick it up at the truck if they would do their job and ring the door bell total retards.

I watched the mail truck zip past my house just now ignoring the flag up on the mailbox indicating that I had mail to be picked up. It’s been a week since any first class mail has been delivered to my house and there have been several day during that time where the mail truck has not even come. My neighbors as well as myself are experiencing this.I live in the Falmouth area zip code 22405. I subscribe to the USPS Daily informed Delivery and can see what’s supposed to be delivered daily. I am supposed to have gotten a lot of mail none of which has been delivered. I want my mail. Please do you job!

I had a package scheduled to be delivered 11/23, then 11/24, then 11/25, then 11/27 but has never arrived. I called Falmouth USPS and was told it was on a shelf waiting to be picked up. This was not a large or heavy package nor require signature, I was never notified it was at the PO. I requested delivery the following day, still nothing. They do not answer phone calls, no mail hasn't been delivered in 2 days. when it is delivered it is usually after 9pm so no idea if it will be 3 days with no mail. worse customer service I have ever seen and we have no alternative. Sad

Today is the third day in a row that our mail has not been delivered. We have informed delivery and know all the pieces of mail that are missing. We were just notified by Amazon that 7 packages from the past 3 days were delivered to our mailbox. NO MAIL. I will yet again call the post office and be told that they will “look for it”. Why can’t they get it right!!!!!

It is now, 8:55 pm, 9/8/2020, and am still waiting for my mail. There was a check to be delivered to me today ( was notified by the Post Office that it was to be delivered today), and yet no service. This is absolutely unacceptable service. I spent many years in the Post Office, as a Postmaster, and we had days after the holiday as well, but never did we not deliver the mail for the day of delivery. I don't know if its due to automation, late trucks or poor employee morale, but this is inexcusable and someone should be held accountable for not providing the expected service, and it should not be the customer (ME)! An explanation/response would be great but I know that's not going to happen.

I have been dealing with this organization for three months and can not get the folks there to do their job and give me my mail. They refuse to actually read the names carefully but take a mass approach to forwarding my mail across the country because my name and the previous owners name contain similarities. They cost me time, money and energy because of pure incompetence and a lazy attitude towards customers.

I have a question. I recently have been receiving my packages deliveries dropped off along my walkway, and not dropped off on my porch. Is this a new procedure? I also noticed other neighbors packages dropped off in very conspicuous areas too. I would like to know if this issue can be addressed, and packages returned to be dropped off on porches, instead of very public view. Thank you.

The animal charged with delivering my mail trashed my mailbox; I fixed the mailbox and it trashed it again. I am giving the Postmaster three days to get someone out her to fix my mailbox, then I am taking it to the next level. I live at 19 Sandy Ridge Court 22405. And I want the delivery animal changed. I want a written letter confirming the change. The postal service is just that a service--to we the people.

I have been reading the reviews on this Post Office and please add my complaint to the many already posted. Our son moved and changed his address online and has visited the post office. He has received no mail to his post box for a month. It is put in the neighbor's box or not delivered. We have complained, the neighbors have complained to the main office both by personal visits and phone calls over a dozen times! Nothing has been done! This is just plain poor work ethic , a deliberate lack of concern and laziness on the part of the Manager and Carrier. How difficult to read Road from Court and notice the Last Name. I intend to report this to a higher authority. YOU ARE NOT DOING YOUR JOB!!

This is the most ridiculous and pathetic post office branch I have EVER dealt with. How difficult is it to deliver a package to the correct address? And when in doubt, DON'T DELIVER IT UNTIL YOU ARE 100% WHERE IT GOES. My neighbors get my mail, my packages, my mail is handed to the lady up the street at her house just because she asks for it. How do I know she is bringing me all my mail? Sometimes my mailman will have to bring a package to the house, so he will bring up one box and leave the letter type mail in the box...why not bring it all up since your coming up anyways? The tracking service is not reliable, either. This dude, my mailman, will be in a hurry on Saturdays so he just opts out on delivering my packages but will scan the code and report it as delivered. Occassionally he will even report that he hand delivered it to an individual. So, we have illiterate, lazy, liars being hired to handle our mail. I am not down with this, there has got to be something or someone these issues can be directed too. This has been an ongoing issue for over 2 years since I moved in. The head postal dude at the post office has been telling me that our regular mailman has been on vacation....for 4+ weeks. Today, 6/27/2016, I asked him if she was on extended vacation cuz she has been "on vacay" for quite some time now. His reply was, "it's only been a week". So, he is a liar too. Can I get some real, educated and considerate customer assistance? How about can I just get my stuff? On time and delivered to ME, at MY address? Is that too much to ask, dear Postal Workers? Is it? The term "Going Postal" is very clear to me now.

Worst service EVER! They claim to have tried to deliver a package, but it did not happen. I was home ALL day that day and NO ONE ever range the doorbell. The online tracking says the left a notice, but there is NO notice anywhere! I did receive my regular mail that day.Of course, I cannot contact ANYONE to find out the REAL story!
