've always have learned that place mail back in the mailbox with a written notice of, "return to sender", when the other residence that lived where you now live no longer lives there. Is that correct? And does the postmaster or postal worker suppose to pick this mail?Ever since I lived here, 04/17/2016 this gentleman never picks up RETURN TO SENDER mail. Its not a lot to ask. Please let this man know that it would be nice for him to pick this mail so somebody can receive their mail that their waiting for. My address is Taconic Circle, Dumfries, Va. 22025. Thank you.

The stuff is so rude it is unreal that they still have a job here! No customer service skills. It is clear they hate their job and are too unkind to receive employment anywhere else!

It would have been nice to know that mail delivery is now every other day instead of daily. Anyone else noticed this in 22025?

On 23 December 2013 Dumfries Postal Clerk Mary Lynn was rude and snide to my wife for no reason. My wife, in a calm and friendly demeanor, began to ask a question about a delivery when Ms. Mary Lynn, in a very rude and belittling manner told my wife "there are no delivery guarantees for priority packages." Had my wife been angry or pushy I would understand it but my wife was neither. As simple, polite response AFTER my wife finished asking the question would have been appropriate.
If the pressures of Christmas mailings get to an employee to that degree the employee should be put on a different task than dealing with customers.
