I have attempted to contact this PO for over a week about a registered package that is locked up in their vault. (I hope) and no one will answer the phone. I have tried the automated system with no success. I pray i never have anything go through this PO ever again.

We have had a registered piece of mail from Virginia Beach to Colorado and it ended up stuck in Ashburn post office. They do not answer their phone. The whole system is messed up!!

I am not happy with this post office delivery. I just received my insulin which says on the packaging that it needs to be refrigerated. It was left downstairs in the at the mailboxes. We live on the fourth floor and are in our 90s so don’t get down stairs every day. Usually it’s delivered to our door but today for whatever reason it was not. This can’t happen or my insulin will not be any good. Please instruct your employee to deliver to our door. Thank you.

How many people have to report that this post office does not answer their phone until something is done about it? A package was delivered to my old address despite it being 1st class mail and qualifying for mail forwarding. I was assured by the toll free number that mail forwarding would apply. The package is now in someone else's mail box and I cannot reach anyone at the post office to answer the phone and retrieve it.

I am extremely displeased with this post office. I sent a watch to my Godson who lives in Ashburn. I got some strange delivery notice but my godson never received the gift. They said they left package near garage or somewhere close??? My godson viewed the video feed for that area before and after the delivery time. Guess what NO delivery. The post office won't answer phone and brushes the claim off it was delivered. And won't pay insurance. Shoddy behavior and I will take this to a higher source until it's settled

I need to make an appointment to get my fingerprints taken for a background check, but there is nowhere to make an appointment online and the operator goes to dial tone. I know that individual employees are out there doing their best, but I am so sick of how impossible it is to take care of simple procedures with our government. How did we get here?

I went to my mailbox two months ago and found a key inside that is used to open one of two larger mailboxes below (I live in a condo so have to get my mail from a “cluster box unit”) I found my mail mixed in with several other people’s. They weren’t large packages, just envelopes. I took mine and left the rest. The two large boxes have been locked now for weeks, and I am missing several pieces of mail that I know were sent to me. I suspect that they are just piled in one of these large boxes with other peoples. Who knows who has the key this time. I’ve had other problems but don’t feel like writing a book. This post office is terrible.

As a retired city letter carrier from Colorado, walking route five miles daily, this post Office in Asburn is an absolute discrace! Besides delivery issues, management must be absolutely asleep or as incompetent as their carriers! What a shame, but then again, I know the system, and eventually all of the blame will end up on the bottom of the totem pole! You cs cowards

Do you have the name of the Post Master, manager, supervisor and/or whoever at this Ashburn location ??? …... because I am preparing a claim / lawsuit against them for their negligence in this loss of a posting sent to me. I will certainly share the thoughts and experiences of people like yourself, God Willing. I would appreciate any input and tips on claims procedures. thanks...

I did not receive my package on Monday June 11, 2018. The tracking numbers says it was delivered but it certainly was not. If it had been delivered then our security officer would have signed for it. I have noticed recently that my outgoing packages have not reached their destinations. I don't want to point any fingers here but we have a lot of missing packages when they get to the mail carrier.

Our mail has not been arriving at my address! My neighbors have been kind enough to deliver it to me if they got it by mistake, but some is still missing. I was also told by another neighbor that it is happening throughout Ashburn Farms! I've lived here for 30 years and have never had such abysmal service up to the last two years. I 've also noticed that the mail person changes a lot and some do not even speak English very well. They are also rude when you try to ask them anything. A month ago, my mailman handed my husband an empty shipping envelope that should have had a tomato slicer and freezer labels in it. It had obviously been damaged, but when my husband asked where the contents were, the mailman just said to contact the post office to see if they had them. I went to the local post office and they couldn't help. They told me that I had to go to the main post office instead. I am elderly and care for my invalid 91 year old mother, so I can't easily get around. My husband tried to call, but when someone answered they were unhelpful and rude. It is a sad, sad day when politeness and courtesy have died at the iconic USPS. And this inefficiency and lack of customer service is probably why you are extremely over budget every year! That just adds insult to injury. Is there anyone managing the store?

A package was sent to me on 12/21/17 Priority Express Mail guaranteed to be delivered on 12/22 @ 3pm. Package was not delivered. On 12/23 tracked it. Said it was delivered—placed on front porch/door. Not so. To date, package not received. Come on USPS, I need my package.

Any package delivery scheduled when our regular carrier is off will almost certainly not be delivered. I had a package today (Saturday) that was properly addressed from a major company to my address which has a manned 24 hours front desk. Tracking number said the address was correct but carrier said it was wrong and carrier (if this is true) did not bother asking our front desk to verify. The public cannot depend on the USPS!

Today I witnessed a mail carrier literally throwing my package up my steps. When I asked him if he knew what was in the package his response was "probably something fragile" and then he drove off as I told him that was my package and it was fragile. I waited for him to turnaround and come back by so I can speak with him but when he did he just kept going. I also called the Ashburn office and spoke with a representative who will be informing the delivery supervisor, who I will be following up with tomorrow as they are gone for the day. Overall, I find this carriers' actions extremely cowardly and I expect to see the Ashburn USPS take appropriate action.

The carrier for Quiet Walk Ter has delivered mail incorrectly for the last 4 weeks. All of the neighbors have complained and nothing has been done. Called the Dulles office on Prentice way and no answer and unable to leave a message, Service needs to improve. People need to get their bills.

Yesterday, Thursday, March 16, a substitute mail carrier to my home (43760 Raymond Way, Ashburn) roughly placed mail in my mailbox. One of the pieces flew away and he did nothing to retrieve it, but drove off. You might want to remind your carriers that they need to exercise caution in delivering mail.

One of the mail delivery persons for our street in Ashburn is in such a hurry every day that he/she roars up to the group mailbox stand, throws it open, throws in the mail as fast as they can chuck it in, closes up and they're gone in a few seconds-- there is not even enough time to run outside and catch them about the problem with the mail getting stuffed in someone else's box. Why are they in such a hurry? The carrier we had last year was really good and I never missed important mail. Whoever is now getting my mail is returning it all to senders. Or stealing it, I am missing important stuff.

The mail delivered to Willowsford community goes to wrong house. I had received my neighbors mail many times and re-delivered them personally. Now my replacement credit card is lost in mail. God knows where it was delivered though!

I sent a package Feb.2, 2017 to an elementary school. The PO tried to deliver it on Feb.4 (Sat.) and the office was closed. They have not attempted to redeliver and it is now Feb.15. Called them about it and was assured that it would be delivered Feb.14 but was not. I called early in the morning to get it delivered today but it was not. I've tried to call but no one will answer the phone.

I pastor a small church which moved into the Goose Creek area of Asburn in mid-June of 2015. It's now June 23, 2016, and despite a dozen visits to the Prentice Drive Post Office, more than 6 telephone conversations with a succession of Postmasters, and dozens of unanswered telephone calls, we STILL cannot receive mail at our physical address! I've pointed out our building to our mail carrier (who delivers mail to the building next door) who said she'd love to help us, but that our street doesn't exist- yet we get deliveries via Fedex and UPS, and the Loudoun County Government offices and Emergency Services can locate us with ease. HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP US?

USPS is broken. I submitted change of address and mail forwarding at usps.com and received confirmation mail from usps one month ago. However, until now I have not received any forwarded mails from my old address. I called usps main line and was confirmed my mail forwarding request is successful. I then called local post office and was told my mail forwarding is NEVER in their system. What is happening?!

I use to defend the Post Office when I heard that politician wanted to shut them down, after today I will stop defending them. The didn't deliver my package, but posted it was delivered on the tracking site. Now after several calls I still have not spoken to anyone who can tell me where my package is. 100% unacceptable, if this is the best they can let Congress shut their azzes down.

You need to update the webpage for your location in Ashburn. Your webpage clearly states that you accept appointments for Passport applications on Saturday. After trying to get someone to answer the phone for 30 minutes, I got someone who told me they're closed on Saturday.
