I live on North Kingsbridge Place in the Kingsbridge Apartment Complex. A couple of months ago a new set of mail boxes were installed with an overhead cover (it is very nice). The old mail boxes were moved and have been used for the last couple of months. I have contacted the managers in my apartment complex and they said they are waiting for the Post Office to issue keys. Do you have any idea when this is going to happen? It would be nice for the post man as well as the rest of us to get the mail in a weather protected structure. Thanks for any information you can give me.

medication sent via mail system is sitting in the post office undelivered. I know this because Express Script where I ordered my prescription refill told me its location. Getting anyone to help you at the Great Bridge Post Office isnt easy.

The post office problems are caused by the appointment by the trump of Louis Dejoy. He purposely set out to slow down or eliminate the home delivery to give trump a leg up on mail in balloting. He is still in the job as postmaster general. He has set the post office home delivery service back 10 years. Prior to his appt my mail service was great, always on time, never missed a day.

Worst mail service ever and rude mail carriers. Mail one day None the next. No courtesy checks for outgoing mail. What a joke! Maybe we need to call Wavy TV 10 On Your Side!

Very fustrated!! We live in a new community in the 23322 zip code and unfortunately we have a cluster mail box, which may contribute to the problem but in the last 18 days we have only received mail once. We also know we should be receiving mail because my wife get scans of the mail email to her. How can we get this fix?

Great Bridge Post Office - Never had problems for a long time, until this last year. I just received a January & February Credit Card payment bill & was penalized for the the late Payment of the December CC Payment on the January & was told that there would be another late payment for the January & interest when I send them the payment for February's & thank you for never having a revolving balance and a loyal customer. Really!?!? I also have/had two packages with tracking numbers - one was to be picked up at the Post Office, 1/19/21 and one was delivered, 1/15/21 at the "house/porch" (of course I did not get it). The Postal Worker said they had nothing for us. When my husband gave them the paper with the tracking number for the 1/19/21 package, they gave us the package that was supposed to be delivered to the house, 1/15/21. Mercy me!!! Did they even read the tracking number on the package & paper to compare the two???? Now I have to go back up tomorrow for the one that was suppose to be picked up at the Post Office on 1/19/2021. :-0

I have to say our mail service inadequate. Sometimes we get mail sometimes we don't. I actually was in the driveway on my mailday and the postwoman was on her cell phone, did not stop and kept going. I was moving my trashcans. Also, one day no mail next day the box is full, then no mail. I doubt after a holiday there is no mial, and the past governement holidays the day after no mail, not even junk. I live in castlewood terrace neighborhood and this is the complaint of many of my neighbors. Post marked mail is way backdated and that is true of local deliveries. It's just not right!

Why in Gods name is the oldest employee in the Great Bridge post office up at the front counter? He should be working in the back so he is not exposed to the coronavirus unnecessarily. Anyone over 60 should not be working the counter at this time. Come on people!

Constantly trying to call it beeps like it’s going to a fax and then hangs up. Trying to reach a human being about a different matter that’s not even on their list of things nope nobody answers

Is this PO in the system that all PO around the country are? Their phone does not work, if you go in the people there don’t work, can’t get an ansewer and it always the temporary employee that didn’t do something the correct way. I walk into another PO in another state and they can ansewer my questions, even tell where Mail is being held.

Apm Monday night still no mail. I have 3 pieces of mail I needed to go out today! This is frustrating. Seems to get later and later every stinking day. No I don't wanna hear that it's the holidays.

How is it that I have lived in Great Bridge for 30 years, and in the last few months have to wait until 6 or 7 o'clock at night to get mail? I do a lot of business thru mail, and it's becoming ridiculous!

Re Chesapeake, VA Great Bridge post office, I paid $20/wk. for premium forwarding. Mailing for 9/6 not received, snd every time I called the post office directly, I was disconnected after the first ring. Doesn't seem to be any way I can get an answer as to where my mail is.

Today is 8-30-16. Got pink slip for certified mail, said had been redelivered on 8-29-16. We pick up mail from box each and every day. Nothing was in box before. Carrier never once attempted to deliver or ring door bell or knock on door for signature. Now we go through horrid affair of calling postal service.

My package was delivered by air mail because the carrier threw it from 15 feet away to land it at my door.
