Tax related material was sent out from my tax preparer two weeks ago and I have not received it. Another important document, mailed simultaneously with other documents I received a month ago, also has not been received. I called the Charlottesville post office phone number posted on the USPS.com site repeatedly and received no answer--just continuous ringing followed by a busy signal. My next communications will be with my elected Federal representatives.

I am impressed by the continuing high standards of our mail delivery. I understand the hardships we are all facing during this terrible pandemic, but our carrier, Anthony, has been a real champ, friendly and efficient. I suspect that our Postmaster, Cloteal Farmer is responsible for our good service. I have spoken to her in the past, and she has always been helpful and professional. Please make sure they know of our appreciation.

NO MAIL in 10 days. Oh but the Amazon deliveries get thru. This is ridiculous. When we do get mail I get the wrong mail so me and my neighbors are hand delivering each others mail. This is UNACCEPTABLE .

Its been 9 days since I last got mail, I live in the city (Ricky Rd) and I keep the snow clear in front of my mailbox, and the street is clear of snow. Is anyone getting mail this week (week of January 2) or is it just my mailman?.

We are a business establishment and just received a month's worth of mail because it is not being delivered. We have checks, invoices, human resources notices and health permits that MUST be paid and processed ON TIME and now we have fees and notices of cancellation to deal with. This is UNACCEPTABLE to pile our mail in a corner until you get around to it. You are paid with taxpayer's money, stop wasting our money.

I moved July 1st to Charlottesville. My husband and I set up for our mail to be forwarded from Maryland starting July 30th. First, mail that we have set up to come directly to this address either arrived a month later or we are still waiting on it. We know this because we have contacted our billing companies asking when things were sent and have no received any of it. We also have family members that have sent mail last month we have not received. Finally, we have not received a single piece of forwarded mail for over a month as of today, September 3rd. I’ve tried to be patient the last month and am getting extremely upset. We are missing extremely important mail pertaining checks, bills, and my new drivers license. This is ridiculous. On top of that when you attempt to call the branch at Seminole trail it rings and hangs up. I work as a nurse and can understand the craziness, but there comes a point that it’s been way to long and you have to get it together. A month plus is more than enough time to sort things out. Only answer anyone can give me is wait. Back in Maryland I never experienced such horrible delays and customer service. We’ve moved quite a bit as well.

The postal worker (male) that services the Gleason Building downtown is extremely rude. I've spoken with him a couple of times now and he has the worst attitude I have ever seen. Very hostile.

Have a letter thats been stuck there for 4 days and wont move. Its at the wrong location. But cant get in touch with anyone. No will answer the phone.

Terrible delivery service. Today we received an April journal as well as a couple May magazines. It's already May 17th. I also got a $20 coupon a couple weeks ago that had expired three weeks previously. Also, we rarely get mail more than 4 days a week. Unacceptable!!

Why do you have a phone if no one ever answers it? Where is my package that was supposed to be delivered on March 5? I went to usps.com/redeliver and arranged for it to be delivered on the 6th and now it’s the 10th. Still no package. Do even read these complaints?

Just wondering where our mail is. We’ve not received a single package, including the ones we PAID to have delivered in 2 days, in over a week. It’s bad enough half our mail doesn’t show up but I love how we have to rely on our neighbors to give us our mail. Our housing area in Pantops is experiencing packages delivered to the wrong address locked up in the WRONG LOCKER. I have to depend on the integrity of neighbors I don't know to deliver my mail and packages to me. This is a FEDERAL JOB that must be executed with professionalism AND attention to detail! I understand that the postal service is experiencing a tough time right now but OBVIOUSLY MORALE is at its lowest in Charlottesville, VA. People need their mail ESPECIALLY during the pandemic. We're ordering medicines, work supplies and things for our kids - we NEED the mail delivered to the RIGHT address. Seriously, folks - perhaps the SES running this branch, who makes at least six figures annually needs to be fired!

We have not had a postal delivery to 3315 Berkmar drive 22901 since October 29th. when you have a substitute driver no one informs them that our postal boxes are inside the lobby. I have kept the main doors unlocked and the lights are on 24/7. This issue has been going on for several years and no one fixes it. I have personally picked up my business mail in the sorting area due to no delivery for several days.

The drive by mail box at the main PO is crammed full to the top-someone couyld easily take some of the mail that is sticking up-not very secure for sure. Please check it and remove mail from box for security-thanks

No one on Stony Point Pass , a 5.5 mile long road in Albemarle County , is receiving mail . There is talk about closing the Keswick Post Office . That means no one will ever receive mail. How about abolishing the US Post Office and turning over all mail delivery to a private company ? ????

I have only received mail once since last Friday. Each day I receive the preview of what is supposed to be delivered, but thus far bills as well as other items are not being delivered. Package that would not fit in mailbox, just left at the bottom of my mail box post on busy rural road. “In OR AT” is not okay, if package doesn’t fit it should be delivered to the home. Anyone could have stopped and picked up the package. This happens too frequently. Tracking my package, UNPROFESSIONAL -after delivered to post office - and on the truck for delivery -will be delayed due to weather -we had slight rain, no wind - BAD EXCUSE -next day it is stated Returned to sender - WTH this is clearly someone who does not want to do their job! You lost my tax payments to the IRS and to the state government, as both have informed me, in no uncertain terms. These payments were mailed in January. As of March 13th, they have never arrived. What's wrong at your operation that you can't get my mail where it needs to go? This is a scandal and you should pay the price for it.

Post Office worker walked by and did not pick up letter in mail box. The worker then drove by and did not pick up letter.

The daily deliveries started getting later and later, generally after 6PM, over the last few months and have now stopped altogether. No one on our road has had daily delivery since 12/8. I do not expect delivery when there are weather issues, but my mailbox and others were freed from the icy grip by Monday afternoon and still nothing as of Thursday afternoon.

I walk often on Ridge Rd. In Albemarle County. Your delivery vans drive too fast as they go past walkers (no sidewalks, dirt road). Today Dec. 10 your van missed me by 6 inches. Who was driving? Please let me know what you can do about this ongoing dangerous situation. Other drivers know how to share this road with walkers.

We have a commercial business on East High St. We rely on the USPS to deliver our mail. This past Monday, we were to receive Sat and Mon mail - NO delivery. On Tue we got one post card, and no other mail. Wed it is 3:30pm and at this moment the delivery time of 11 am is long past. That makes 4 days without delivery and our businesses on both sides of us report the same bad delivery story. Get your act together.

Urgent! I stopped my mail on December 20 and asked that it be resumed January 2. As of January 5, I have not received the mail that was held. It is critical that I receive this mail January 6 or 9. The mail includes critical medicine and I need to leave for a family funeral early the 10th. PLEASE HELP!!

Once again I did not get the mail in informed delivery this morning. This is a constant problem. Your service is pathetic and the government is uncapable of providing this service. It is time to quit and turn it over to the private sector, who has the ability to do it correctly.

Mail service is pathetic, on Monday I received 2 packages from Amazon, one in the am and one in the pm, both delivered by the USPS, but no mail service pick up or delivery, on Tuesday mail came at 8pm, yesterday I paid $300 to have 2 packages picked up to be sent overseas, I have pick up confirmation for today, got mail delivery put packages weren't picked up. I know they are busy, but they can't even accomplish normal functions and ignore high paying deliveries and pickups. They act like they work for the government.

This week September 5-9th, we went 4 days with out any mail, that is not normal. I also have had a lot of "missing" items. My aunt sent me a gift card back in June for my birthday that I never received, & I am missing not one, but TWO paychecks from different companies that never made it. I have had to call my places of employment to see if they can reissue my paychecks. One was mailed on August 31st (12 days ago), and still no sign of it. My other paycheck was mailed back on the first week of August, and it also never made it. Back on the first week of August, I happened to be in my kitchen cooking, and saw that the mail lady pull up behind my house and threw my boxes from amazon by the trash can instead of walking it around and placing it on my porch. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement.

It is Tuesday evening May 9. I have had no mail delivery since Sat. No mail for two days is unheard of in this house!There are two out going letters. I am not sure of what is going on but there have been other things.

I've contacted the post office multiple times about getting our neighbor's mail. Each time I was told that it would be fixed. It happened again today. This is has happened ten to twenty times in the past couple of years. I have little faith in the post office right now.

Once again our mail (1126 Foxvale Ln) has not been delivered; instead we got our neighbor's mail (506 Rolling Valley Ct).The number is prominently displayed on BOTH sides of the mailbox, not to mention it is an entirely different street, yet over and over again we have to walk our neighbor's mail to them. I have no idea who is getting our mail; I assume it is put back in the box to be redelivered, but they could very well be throwing it away, as I know of some mail that never arrived (car registration). I'm not going to be nice anymore to you! We run a small business, we are located at 619 Bolling Avenue, Charlottesville, 22902. We have a regular mail man his name is Roger, when Roger doesn't work for a day, everything falls apart. Today we had a hundred packages to be picked up, your guy showed up at the door, promised to be back by 7pm and it's 9.13 pm, apparently he's not coming and guess what? We are paying $2000 as fine!!!! For late delivery!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough! This isn't the first time, you either fix this right away or I find my own way! Employ more honest people maybe, or stick with the ones you trust! You've no right to put us in shame, the shame is on YOU!

I would like to know how it is that a certified letter that arrived at your post office yesterday and was sent out for delivery yesterday has still not arrived at its destination, which is in Charlottesville. What is going on down there?

I have special needs as I am in a wheelchair. My mail is suppose to be delivered to my door. I love my regular mail lady, but if she is sick or is on vacation, the subs just skip me. No mail at all! It has happened too many times to ignore!!! I am furious because the office never answers!

This office is still the absolute worst. No one answers any of the three numbers (-7606, 7611, or -7627, which accepts messages no one returns). Charlottesville residents are better off driving the Waynesboro Clerk of Circuit Court: open 8:30-4pm every weekday, no appointment necessary.

You cannot reach anyone! This is soooo frustrating. I have a package that is supposedly undeliverable - I have been trying since yesterday to get someone. I want to know WHY it wasn't deliverable. It tracked at the post office yesterday and I was trying to stop it from being sent back. I need what's in it!!!

This post office is the absolute worst. I have been trying to get SOMEONE...ANYONE to answer a phone for WEEKS so I can make an appointment for a passport application!!!!
