Your tag for "Chat with an expert" SUCKS! I have been tracking a package, The Springville Post office shows "Shipment Received" on Jan. 9th (Monday) at 4:17pm. And shows "Package Acceptance" as PENDING! It is now Wednesday January 11th. The mail just came and NO Package. Where is my Package?

I have been a resident of Springville for over 30 years. I have always found the postal employees to be friendly, efficient, and patient even during the busiest times. If the local office is understaffed, it is the fault of the way the postal service is funded and not the day to day employees who work there.

It doesn’t seem like that Springville Postal Service knows anything about their job. They are not delivering mail, and when they do they clean my mailbox is obstructed, which is not the case because I just recently moved to the area and there is no mailbox. Then they claim that they delivered my mail to the mailbox, yet it’s not my mailbox or my address? WTF? It doesn’t seem like that Springville Postal Service knows anything about their job. They are not delivering mail, and when they do they clean my mailbox is obstructed, which is not the case because I just recently moved to the area and there is no mailbox. Then they claim that they delivered my mail to a mailbox, yet it’s not my mailbox or my address? WTF? How do you deliver peoples mail to other people’s mailbox isn’t that a breach of privacy? I’ve spoken to three individuals about this particular incident of my mail not being delivered. Products that I’ve paid for our nowhere to be found and I will not be compensated for it. This is ridiculous. Is this how you treat your customers? I seriously think you need to be reported to the state of Utah and to the city of Mapleton and Springville, Utah! Your mail carrier does not bother to get out of his vehicle and place my mail at my door which would be the right thing to do. Instead he lies, and states that my mailbox is obstructed or that my mail was put into a mailbox. It’s all bullshit if you ask me. Get your crap together and deliver peoples mail Accurately.

On January 13th 2018 I placed two pieces of mail in my box and put the arm up. A letter had been previously placed in my box that went to another address. This has happened multiple multiple multiple times. The second piece was a birthday card to go out. Not sure it will make it to the party due to the weekend and the incompetence of your employee . When I went out to get my mail later everything was still there plus new mail. I'm sick and tired of the incompetence of the employees of the Springville Postal Service. I would like you to find out who that person is that delivered my mail on that day and see if their eyes need to be checked. Retraining them how to pick up mail would be useful as well.

The only thing that happens when you put the arm up, is that you alert thieves you have something in the box, and they drive around looking for those red arms, to steal birthday cards with checks in them, or bills you may be paying, so they can wash the checks and make them out to themselves. It's happened so many times, I removed the red arm, and take anything I need mailed directly to the post office. You can't blame the post office for everything wrong, and I find, overall, they do a heck of a good job.
