This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever received. If I could put 0 stars, I would. What a joke. I have been in upper management in many fields over the past two decades and never have I ever been dismissed for a complaint made against an employee or business for not doing their job. The manager at this location completely wasted my time, asking me to send tracking numbers and respond to emails, knowing they would just dismiss my complaint in the end. I emailed several times over several weeks, and spoke with him over the phone, just to be denied a refund for items that were never delivered. The mail carriers are placing multiple items for multiple residents in a package locker all together. One lucky person gets everything in the package locker and no one else receives their items. I spent weeks trying to get refunds for the items purchased, and needed specific items I will never get. I don't have the funds and cannot replace the items I purchased and never received. I have lost out on the funds and unfortunately didn't have the necessary items when I needed them. If there was any way to avoid using USPS to ship items I would. However, you cannot always choose how items are shipped. The least they could have done was tell me I am not getting my money back, but instead they screwed me out of my time as well. It is a shame how people have no integrity anymore. If you have an issue with this post office, I would suggest you make a complaint online and then forget it. You will never get a refund, and you will just end up wasting your time, along with your money. These people don't deserve to keep their jobs. It is just dishonest. Moral of the story, spend more elsewhere to ship it with an honest company. Clearly the government does a fantastic job of vetting these people.

This week for the 2nd time in 6 months I have not received multiple packages that say they are delivered. I have tracking numbers and I receive an email from multiple companies stating they have been delivered and when I go to the locker for packages, they are either left open, or there is nothing in them. The last time this happened, I spent over a week trying to contact someone over the phone and was never able to speak with anyone. I finally sent multiple emails to try to get in touch with anyone who could help. Turns out the person delivering mail left multiple peoples packages in the locker box all together, so when you open the locker, all other peoples packages are in there as well. Mine never made it to me. Unfortunately some of these packages are very important items and are not something that is easy to replace. This is quite frustrating, not because of the money, but because when you are having something shipped to you, you are expecting that item to be delivered. This is absolutely ridiculous that no one can ever get in touch with someone who can address this issue. The lockers are obviously a problem, are not even in good working order, and no one is doing anything to fix this problem.

This place NEVER answers the phone. Been calling for an hour. I'm disabled and can't just go to the post office. The key won't work for the large PKG box at our community mailboxes. And my meds are in there. I have no idea what i am going to do as my Dr is on vacation.

I would give them -5 stars if I could. I am a 100% disabled, mostly homebound combat veteran. I live on a fixed and tight income. This post office will not deliver packages to my apartment complex. Over the last three months, I have received numerous texts from the USPS automated system informing me that I have a package there for pickup. Knowing that you can never trust automated communications from computers, I attempt to call this post office to verify that they have actual custody of my package. I spend hours of my time on the phone trying to be able to speak to a human being. That NEVER happens. I then have to Uber to their location spending money that I really cannot afford to, and stand in line at the package window for periods that vary in length from 30 minutes to over an hour. Fine. When I finally get service, it is usually very curt, rude and unprofessional. At least 50% of the time, they do not have my package - - - but they surely can point the finger of blame to other departments within the post office hierarchy And a lot of times at outside circumstances. They are quick though to say "Thank you for your service" which has the effect of adding insult to injury given their stellar performance. The government employees working in this particular post office seem to quite not know whether they have been Shot, F*cked, Powder-Burnt, or Snake bit. I would say it is 6 -5 and pick 'em. This place should be closed, the employees fired, and the responsibility for doing their job transferred to a more competent office within the USPS System

I am always impressed by the professionalism of the office employees. However, this web site indicates last mail pick-up at 5:30 PM on Saturday, while at the office it shows 5:00 PM. Change this site to indicate the correct time for Saturday pick-up: 5:00 PM on Sat. and 5:30 weekday.

This is the sorriest excuse for a post office that I have ever seen. Nobody ever answers the phone, as has been indicated by numerous reviews and social media posts. In fact, I took a screen shot of my hour long attempt to contact someone at the post office. It is not uncommon to see several employees wandering around by the registers, with no customers in line, while dozens of people are lined up at the "Quick Service Window". Likewise, the new carrier for our community is a disgrace compared to our previous carrier who retired in 2020. Not only does she seem to struggle to deliver mail to the proper address (in a centralized box to boot) but she is, by far, the laziest postal carrier I have ever seen. Rather than bring packages to the door, she takes the time to unload, see they don't fit, put them back in her vehicle, scribble a note about "overflow" and take everything back to the post office thereby forcing us to pick up our own mail. This is where we get to make use of the "Quick Service Window" which is a misnomer if I have ever seen one. A single person running back and forth handing out mailbox keys, held mail and returned packages not delivered by the lazy carrier(s). I made a complaint, in person, to the supervisor who told me that it would be addressed to no avail. When it happened again, I made a complaint online. What a laughable process. The employee contacted me on a Sunday, did not identify himself and proceeded to lecture me on my responsibilities as a tax paying postal customer. When I disagreed with him, he hung up the phone on me. Is it any wonder why the USPS is losing BILLIONS of dollars per year? With customer service like this, it is easy to see my UPS, FedEx and Amazon have dominated the USPS and reduced them to nothing more than an afterthought and, quite frankly, a joke amongst the American people.

I must be living right or the stars were aligned. My mailbox key quit working after 18 years and I called the Encino Park Post Office to report the issue and ask them to repair, and the mail carrier (for my address) said they would take care of it. I hung up the phone at 9:32, and as I was getting into my car at 10:10 a guy was walking up to me with the new keys. Yes, you read that right, 38 minutes from the time I hung up, until the replacement was done and the repairman delivered the new keys. And my house is 5 miles from the Post Office as the crow flies. A few hours later as I was driving home in the neighborhood, I saw our mail carrier and thanked him personally, and he relayed that the guy who replaced the lock and delivered the keys, was a supervisor. Talk about service, and leading by example. Wow, I am so impressed. I was expecting a week or so to get this fixed and new keys, also dreading having to go to the post office daily to pick up my mail until the repair was done. Was I pleasantly surprised. I recently retired from 30 years in the Army and another 17 years working Federal Govt Civil Service. I have never seen service this fast. This experience may be a fluke, but Thank you Encino Park USPS employees.

I believe my carrier is returning my mail. I've tried calling the office to see if my mail is being held there for pick up but no one answers the phone. Is there another number I can call to speak to someone? What can I do to take actions to get my mail?

The PO is complaining that mail service has dropped during the coronavirus pandemic but this post office is worse than normal. I drop items off at the inside mail slots in the middle of the night but they are not scanned until after 2 pm the next day even though it is published that they pick up 2 times before then. The outside box is even worse. A 6:00 pm pick up, THE NEXT DAY!

Terrible customer service.using premium forwarding service. Long issue but mail continue to be delivered to my home instead of forwarding address. When I cancelled the service to start delivering mail to my home it stopped and it's been a week since I had home mail delivered. Today I went to post office because post office never answers their phone. Supervisor ask me to call him after he review ed my case but since they don't answer the phone I went in person. I got there asked for supervisor because he ask for a call back and clerk said he was in. I waited 15 minutes and another clerk came to speak to me and said supervisor gone for the day. All in All terrible customer service. Hope I get my mail today.

This post office has to be one of the worst in Texas. The carriers cannot read and the supervisors could care less. I have complained locally and gone up the chain to federal services to no avail. The Encino Park post office is the poster child for privatizing mail services. We've missed wedding invitations, credit card bills, mortgage notices. Complete incompetence.

Our packages are going to other people's adresses. I live at 17815 Salado Draw, 78258. Two in the last week. I have honest neighbors who brought them to me. However, both opened them. I have brought three packages in the last couple of months to neighbors also when I got theirs by mistake. Why is this happening? What if that item had been very expensive?

My family and I moved into our apartment in March and I put in the change of address form and still did not receive mail so I decided to fill out another form and again nothing so finally after 6 months of thinking I did something wrong I go down to the AWFUL post office and tell them what was going on and they tell me all my mail is in the back room in two full boxes and they needed to go through it because someone else name was mixed in with ours I say okay and call the next day and then I am told by the rudest supervisor that they can not give me my mail and she can't tell me why.... so for days I am calling asking for my mail and nothing she is just as rude I go down there and she gives me a number to call, I call the number and it is Postal Investigators number even they have no idea what is going on so I continue to call being treated like trash by this post office. I can't take it anymore and I file a lengthily complaint with the consumer affairs office not even 15 minutes later I get a call from the same retched woman she then tells me oh you can have your mail now!!!!!!! Why did all this happen? Why are there no repercussions to any of there actions treating me like Ive done something wrong when all I wanted was MY mail. So if you have the misfortune of speaking to EVA be prepared to be treated horribly oh and if you want to speak to anyone higher then her, her name would be Yvonne Lopez and be prepared she is conveniently in meetings 24/7 oh and just to help out a direct number to them is 2104976392!!!! Prepare yourself for disappointment.. this place is awful

We've had multiple problems with wrongly delivered packages and missing mail. Lots of this has been reported to your office with little result. Today I came home to see that both doors to the tower were open - no postal worker or vehicle in sight. Please explain. I have photos but no way of attaching them.

My package was stolen by the post lady on October 30 , 2015. She had told me that she could accept my package and scan it in for pickup by UPS and after several days now weeks nothing has came up in tracking . I have given them at least a week after calling to speak with a supervisor, I was suppose to get a call back ...nothing. Now I will take the next measures and file a report with the police for mail fraud/tampering. She knew a mobile device was in the package because I told her I needed to make sure it got back. She assumed I did not live in the neighborhood because I pulled up to her she figured she wouldn't see me again. She was surprised to see me a week later and confronting her about my package. She said she would get with her supervisor...im sure she didn't. My mobile carrier wants to charge me $800 for a phone that was stolen on top of my new phone they traded out. Thieves work here go elsewhere with your packages during the holidays.

This post office is the worst. The people working there are rude. They are understaffed and highly inefficient. I waited in a line that was all the way to the door just for the employee to tell me that my little box could not be used for shipping because it said priority and that even if I taped it up, he would still know that it was a priority box. What a crock. These people don't even deserve the jobs. From now on, I am not going to my own neighborhood post office. It is always like this. I went to pick up my package, and the line was out the door. I returned the next day and the line was out the door. Unbelievable. In the morning they had 4 people working the front desk, in the afternoon they had 1 person working the desk and 1 doing passports. Please can we somehow fix this? I have been to so many other post offices and this one is the most pathetic I have ever encountered. Pathetic

THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I can never get a call through to the post office it is ALWAYS busy. It has been almost one month since I have applied to get keys to my mailbox, so I went there since they never answer any phone calls. I get there and they make me wait in two long lines only to tell me that my keys are still not ready after a whole month and that they will call me. ONE MONTH LATER STILL NO CALL. When am I going to get my keys??? Do they not realize people have bills and other important documents they need to get through their mail??

I called the post office at Encino Ledge at 210 497-6391 on Friday because the key to the package box broke and the man who answered said someone was coming. I waited. Stupid me for thinking he was professional. I tried calling this number above and either it's off the hook or it stays busy all day. The postal carrier has left the box with my package unattended even with a note taped all around it. This lack of concern does not surprise me as she leave the community mail box area littered with rubber bands and on many occassions exceeded speeds that are dangerous for such a neighborhood. Who can I report this behavior to ?
