Do not hand over your packages to mail carriers or they will never reach their destination . I handed 33 packages on March 9th to our mail carrier and the packages have gone missing. When i call the post office no one picks up , if they do pick up they put me hold for atleast an hour before i hang up as no one comes on line to talk to . I was able to get someone to talk to once and she was very rude and condescending . AVOID THIS POST OFFICE as they either steal your packages or dump them in trash
Oh Lord, all the reviews are so horrible. :( I have been calling them for 2 days to see if i need to make an appointment for my passports and nobody picks up the phone. I'm scared to go into this post office now...but I need to get my 4 kids passports.
This is one the poorest , most horrible behaving employees ever !! Yes TRAVIS.J.WILLIAMS , I am talking about you !! You don't know how to talk to people, your customer's service is horrible. There is no reason to scream at people just because you feel like. Extremely unprofessional . For Every Door Direct Mail , we need to bundle in the 50 or 100 postacrds together. This is the correct rule . Which we did for 5000 postcards in bundles of 50postcards each. And then my staff went to my drop it off, and this person came out screaming at my staff in front of eveyone saying it was all bundled wrong and that I as a owner did't know anything. My staff didn't say a word , went outside , in the hot blazing sun , rearranged the whole thing according his saying , and yet after all this he continued to treat them badly. How much can a person tolerate? I can't imagine why is this place still up and running. Why is that even after so many poor reviews about this place , no one does anything about this ? An investigation needs to be done about this .
This post office is a magnet for the worst employees anywhere. The carriers are unprofessional and rude. They are slow at delivering mail..not by hours but days. Mail and parcels are constantly lost. When filing a claim for redelivery it never makes a difference, the packages never show up. Still can't find my package and calls to post office for resolution are unanswered.This post office should be closed and everyone terminated. The service couldn't get any worse. Another example of unaccountability in our government services that goes on and on and on.
I just called to get info on paying my for my POBox over the phone. The Hispanic woman that answered was so incompetent she claimed she did not know how to check the system for amount or due date. She said the clerk that knew how to do that was not in. She also proceeded to tell me that if the rent was not paid on time that they would simply lock the box until it was paid. What a waste of time!
zip code 77469-5785. filed a delivery hold online well over a week before my departure. prior to my filing, my neighbor had filed a hold in person but gave me his box key " just in case". usps never did hold his mail. some mail was delivered during my absence ( who knows when ). delivery did resume on the date i requested; however, it took over a week for them to deliver the mail they did hold which should have been delivered on the resume date. It included bills and other time related parcels which caused problems. merchants don't readily receive "postoffice" as a reason for late payment. there is obviously a serious problem @ 5560 Fm 1640 Rd, Richmond, TX 77469 location(near walmart) 281-633-0386. ... need a new postmaster, procedures refresher and improved employee training. grade= F-------------------------------(minus)...
This post office would keep a person from moving to Richmond! I call see why USPS is having difficulty staying in business. For one, Customer Service!! We had went on a trip and placed our mail on hold, all our mail was still delivered. I personally brought the form into the post office NOT online, for the hold mail. The previous owners of our home did a change of address and we are still receiving their mail, not just their magazines. I complained and now we aren't receiving any mail at all at our address. A package was scheduled for delivery on 9/20/2014 and left a notice. We were at home at 6:38 pm for the scheduled delivery and no notice was left in the mailbox or at the front door. I am not the first to complain and most of my community speaking with neighbors has had the same sort of issues or problems,...no mail at all, misplaced mail, waiting on boxes to be installed, etc.
We have has soooooooooo many problems with this Office. The mailman marks the package as delivered, but there is no package in our mailbox / or front door. I have complained about this issue with the postmaster a couple of times but it just does not get fixed. I bet the businesses that guarantee 2 day services have a paid contract with the USPS, and the lazy workers mark it delivered so they stay out of trouble,,,,, poor customer service.... Wish we could just change to another USPS location.
Richmond's office is the worst with customer service from it's Post Master. I purchased stamps from their kiosk and only received half of the total amount I paid for. I waited for an hour before someone was able to figure out to check the machine, and then was told there was nothing wrong with the machine. They would not refund me or provide stamps in place of the ones that were not printed. Then, I was told the post master would notify me in a couple of days to whether they would be sending my stamps in the mail. It's been 2 weeks, no stamps or call. I've been calling the post office non-stop all day and no one answers.
I have to agree with everyone! This post office is the worst!! They've delivered 2 of MY parcels to my neighbors' houses....thank goodness i have honest neighbors that gave them to me. They mark delivered when mail clearly hasn't been delivered. they're lazy....none of my neighbors got mail yesterday (and it wasn't a holiday)!!!! Oh! And to top it......NOT friendly or helpful at all!!! So wish I could switch to another post office location! Definitely makes one question moving into this area...THAT BAD!!!!

This office is horrible. I have been trying now for 7 wks to have my mailboxes put in so that we (and 11 other families) can begin receiving mail without having to drive down to their office. Began calling on 3/10, told it would take 2-3 wks. Called again on 4/7, told in by the end of the wk. Now today I am on hold for 30 min, with someone picking up every 10 and asking who I am holding for before placing me on hold again.
