We have not had mail service all week. My 87 yo dad thinks the end of the world has come . He believes that this is a sign. The storm was not that. By bad for us, we had rolling power outages. Surely mail trucks have delivered on ice and snow up north. Don’t you have emergency equipment like snow chains. What happened to the old saying”neither wind nor rain nor sleet or snow”. Or something like that!!

I don't know what you all are complaining about, whenever I go in to this Post Office he is always nice and helpful. I see him carrying out packages to customers cars and assisting people all the time. I don't even live in this town but I don't mind driving 15-20 mins. When I go to some of the other offices in the area I don't get the service that I get at this office. If you don't believe me go pay them a visit. This office and its workers get two thumbs up from me.

I agree. The new postman there is horrible. He can't be bothered if you have a question or need help with something. He gets very defensive and says he can't do anything about it. I moved and filled out a forwarding address card two months ago and only about half of my mail is getting forwarded. I had to fill out cards several more times after that to be sure they're getting forwarded and now none of my mail is being forwarded. When I called to find out what the mix up is, he said he couldn't help and I had to ask the mail main that delivers the mail cause he carries a little note book around with him to check. I mean even the pony express had better mail service. The ladies who worked there before were very helpful. Thus guy has to go.

This man locked my mother inside the office, because he was getting mad over sending a package to my older sister that is serving our country in the army in Afghanistan. This man refused to send the package! This man should be fired!!!

Very rude costumer service, this man should be fired. "He's African American but I have no name" I hate this postal service because of him.

Lavon, Texas post office has gone south the last year. The postman/postwoman do not feel they have to deliver your mail on regularly scheduled days. Not to mention getting a delivery on a certified letter takes a act of congress. Did I mention when you put your flag up advising them of out going mail is a joke. They shove your mail in right on top. The office staff however are amazing. Always cleaning up after the carriers.
