A man by the name of Felix Gonzalez works at this post office. He has kidnapped my nephew Damien Gonzalez from his mother in NY after assalting her. There is a court order stating that Damien is not allowed to cross state lines.

Dear Mr/Ms. Supervisor, I am a professional counselor, employed with Logos Counseling, which has a Haslet office located on Willow Springs Road, near the intersection of Hwy 287 and Blue Mound Road. We help persons who are dealing with mental health issues that may be affecting their ability to work effectively at their jobs, relate to other persons (supervisors, work associates, friends, family members) in a healthy manner, cope with daily stress or deal with unusual events, such as what we are currently experiencing with the Coronavirus lockdown. We would like to work with you in helping any employees that you may be having that are having to cope with such issues, by providing a source of support that can offer them the means of gaining new skills and information that would enable to them to see themselves and their lives/relationships differently. They could then be empowered to make any needed changes in their thought patterns or beliefs that would be a part of this process. Sincerely, Karl Reigle, MA, LCDC, LPC 125121 Willow Springs Rd., Ste 100 Haslet, TX 76052 817-812-2880

Certified letter's projected delivery date was Thursday, June 6. It did not arrive but I gave it a second day. Still did not arrive on Friday, June 7. I called post office. I will say that Sean was very kind and helpful over the phone. We were ready to place a stop payment on the check that was being mailed. On Monday, June 10 the letter was finally in the mail box. I spoke personally with the mail carrier on Saturday when It did not arrive I was not overly impressed with our conversation, as she seemed like it was of no major concern to her. It's absurd what mail carriers are paid, that many of them are so irresponsible and do not take their job seriously.

Carrier seems much better at getting the correct mail to the correct address. Used to be a fairly common mistake. I don’t know about other post office locations and set counter hours in relation to population served. The one hour “closed for lunch” may have been ok 10-15 years ago but Haslet is a pretty large population area now. They really need to hire another person and stagger lunch to better serve their customers. They only have 2 counter spots and even during “open” hours I don’t recall ever seeing but 1 person working it.

Today I saw our mail carrier deliver our mail, and, expecting something important, I went to check the mailbox just a few minutes later. In the mailbox was a "Sorry we missed you" Certified Letter card. I jumped in my car and found the mail carrier on the next street over. As I handed her the card I said, "why didn't you bring this to my door?". Before she even looked to see which address I had come from she answered, "a lady was walking a dog and I don't get out if dogs are around". I said, "was the dog on a leash?", she said, "I don't know, I wasn't paying attention. I have the right not to get out if there is a dog around". My response was that if the dog was on a leash it was under control, and that people in this neighborhood have a right to walk their dogs on leashes and receive their mail. (1) I was behind her by just a few minutes (I caught up to her on the next street over), and I never saw a lady, or a dog. (2) She came up with the dog story awfully fast, considering she didn't even know which house I had come from, and she "didn't notice" whether or not the dog was on a leash? Um, maybe because there was no dog?? (3) She regularly speeds through our neighborhood driving much faster than is legal or safe. I don't think there was a dog. I think she didn't want to take the time to come to the door. (4) Neighbors post complaints about this mail carrier FREQUENTLY on our neighborhood Facebook page, stating she drives too fast, mail went to the wrong address, packages showing delivered were nowhere to be found, etc. Delivering the mail is this person's job. I don't expect her to actually put herself in danger, but fabricating a story as an excuse to be lazy isn't acceptable. If incidences like this were a rare occurrence I would think maybe she wasn't feeling well today, or there was some reasonable explanation, but this isn't the exception, this is her norm and it is not okay.

I had a flat rate envelope with postage on it was put in my mailbox on a Friday to arrive in OH. After a week, (traveling) it never arrived. It was later discovered still in the mailbox with new mail piled on top of it. The postman in Haslet, TX never even looked to see if it had postage or even bothered to pick it up!!!!!!!! And to make matters worse, a flat rate any weight envelope is exactly what it says on the front and the gentleman working at Haslet post office told me not to put over 13oz in it or it wouldn't get picked up.

The staff I encountered today was not at all helpful. Doesn't look professional when the lady yells from the back, "Just tell her we can't do it," instead of trying to find the answer to my question. I took the item to UPS and mailed it with no problem.
