RUDEST person I have EVER met at the front desk. I don't know who raised this girl but they did an AWFUL job of it. Every time I have to go into the lobby and she's working I leave feeling disrespected and very irritated that someone like that is in CUSTOMER SERVICE. Who decided that she would be good with customers??? You couldn't have picked a worse person. Florence customers deserve much better than this. I remember a few years ago we had some nice people working there (especially Kathy)... now there are 2 guys that are pretty nice but that girl needs to go!! I think a lot of people are in agreement with me.

Christmas Eve 2020 - I'm a regular customer inside the lobby of the Florence Post Office and I understand the stress the employees can sometimes be under, but that's no excuse for not showing you care about your customers. The new girl that has been working the front counter completely lacks personal skills and is never friendly. She always seems like it's a burden for her to be there, never even says "hello" or "thank you"... and today, of all days (Christmas Eve), one would expect at least a "Merry Christmas" or at least a "Thank you". But I guess that's too much to ask for this employee who hardly ever even looks at her customers, let alone says anything. I agree with the last review on here, she needs to be reassigned to a different city or only work in the back. I'm not the only one that has been complaining about her... I know of several others who have commented on how uncaring and rude she is. If you're lucky and get Wanda or the other guy who works there, you leave with the feeling like they actually care. Wanda is the BEST at customer service. I always leave with a smile when she's working the front because she has customer service skills and actually puts forth an effort to get to know the people in this small community. The other girl does not belong at this post office.

August 29, 2020 I went to the Florence Post Office this afternoon and was assisted by a new employee who lacks serious personal skills, friendliness, and overall caring. She “zip-zapped” weighing my package, rapidly sounded off her required, “Does the package contain ...” spiel, snapped out, “sign here” (no please added); tossed the package aside, and hurriedly returned to the back before I left the office. She offered no “hello,”. no in between politeness or attempt at conversation, and no “good-bye”! In short, she was highly and consistently impersonal. In my opinion, if she doesn’t quickly change her uncaring, non personality, and non personal attitude, she needs to be reassigned to a different city location or relegated to ONLY work in the back where she will not have her irritating contact with Florence’s small town, friendly customers.

The most incompetent of all US postal Offices in the area and that I have dealt with. Definitely need a contact information for the post master.
