Something is very wrong with the Colleyville, Texas post office. No matter what time of day you go, there is at least a 30-45 minute wait in line with anywhere from 7 to 15 people waiting. There is usually only 1 person helping. When asked to see the Post Master, she finally appears only to say she cannot help do any of the things out front! Always an excuse of someone didn't show up, etc. Any of the other post offices in and around Colleyville, Texas are staffed, waiting only 5 to 7 minutes, if you have to wait at all! The Colleyville Post Master should be FIRED!!!
This location has been a problem. The phone is not answered. I have called 4 times and have been hung up on all 4 times, even after hearing that a connection has been made.
Our mail is not being delivered every day. We can see what to expect from the digital scan but, some days it does not arrive at all.
We have two packages that were not delivered while the tracking says “restricted access.” There are open streets to our subdivision with no construction or barriers. There is no reason delivery can not take place.
We are filing a formal complaint at the federal level.
The older black woman that works there is the most unfriendly person I’ve ever had to deal with. I dread getting waited on by her. I use the post office often and mostly prepay but sometimes have to get help. There are plenty of people who would love to have that job and are willing to give great customer service. She needs to go.
This was our second trip up to the passport office. The first time they were closed (apparently for the day even though posted hours showed that they would be open until 4:30). We were told to call ahead to ensure that the office would be staffed as they are short handed. We called this morning to ask about hours and were told the office would be open until 3:30. We called again at 2:45 when we were on our way and were told to go ahead and come they’d be open until 3:30 (posted hours still say 4:30). We got there at 2:55 and were told by a person in line that they wouldn’t be seeing anyone else today. Spoke to the manager Alicia Wynn (?sp) who was incredibly rude and flippant. She at no point would apologize for her employees giving out false information, for our wasted time, nor did she offer any advice on how to best know when to come. We followed their instructions to the t and were told that there are other passport offices as the only solution. It was obvious that Mrs. Wynn did not care about our time and effort (there were 4 families behind our own who were also turned away). She encouraged us to go elsewhere multiple times, despite the inconvenience it would cause us to leave early from work (for now a 3rd time), get kids out of school, etc. When I mentioned that her flippant behavior was adding to the problem, that the least she could do was apologize for our inconvenience and perhaps figure out a way to better inform people of the office hours she said, “I’m sorry you’re upset about this” and walked away, admitting no fault, taking no responsibility.
Walked in at 11:30am today because advertised passport hours are 9am-430pm. Theres a signin sheet and notification that they will not be open until 115pm today. Please reflect true passport office hours, so people who go at lunch can actually get this done.
I went to mail a package at this location on Tuesday. I went in at 8:55am to make sure I was in line early in order to get it mailed. Well the counter shutter was down and postal employee Dean came out of a door to post some information and saw me standing there. He promptly went back inside, raised the shutter, and stated, "You're here. I'm here. We might as well open." I wasn't expecting him to open up early but it was so nice to see that type of customer service. I have never had a problem with this location or the postal delivery personnel. Always prompt and courteous.
Due to accident that damaged my permanent mail box. I requested that the carrier put my mail in a temp box located just 20 off the street fully accessible from the mail truck, driver would not have to get out of truck. My request was refused. Other drivers have been very helpful in the past to a senior citizen.
Do NOT use this post office! Or any USPS. I mailed a package and was given an expected date of delivery on the receipt and a verbal confirmation from the clerk. Package never delivered and tracking number never updated. When I inquired with Colleyville Post Office, was then told I had chosen standard shipping and there was no guarantee it would ever be shipped. Only if they ever had time available, would they work on standard rate packages. Could not even promise it would occur in this year. Why is this information not posted and why do you offer services for delivery and take my money to pay for that service which you now claim will never occur? No help, uncaring and acted as if my fault for misunderstanding the expected delivery date to actually occur. Stay away for this place and find a different company for shipping if you value your package.
