I have been sending letters to the same address for several years. Over a month ago, I began sending one a day, for a very important purpose. The first several were received. Then they started being sent back "Undeliverable". Same address.... He then received a few more and then I received more with the same message. Again, same address. I took the letter to our local post office --- They verified it was a valid address. We contacted the 800 # and were told we would have to contact Canyon. Hello- there is no phone number and If I was close enough to 'stop in'-- at Canyon I could hand deliver the letter....... I will not use USPS again - I am now using pakmail/UPS. (The top of this page says *comments below are not read by postal employees..... So what good is this anyway? Other than venting. I will be telling everyone I know of this issue)

I ordered a package as a wedding gift that was getting delivered to a friends address. I went to look up and see if it had been delivered and it says that it could not be delivered due to an animal interference. I didn't get a notification or anything. I messaged my friend that the gift is for, and come to find out, it's the neighbors dog that they put in their front yard sometimes that can cause a package to not be delivered. It's been a week since this package was attempted to be delivered. The reason I wanted to leave this review is because I am not happy. I called Canyon's USPS and the lady I talked to was very rude. She told me that they left a notice on the door, which I was not aware of and I don't believe my friend got this notice. If they are able to walk to the door and leave a notice, why cant you leave the package? I live an hour and a half from this town and can't pick it up. So I had to tell my friend that she's going to have to pick it up, which is fine, but still not happy that she's having to do that because I wanted it delivered to her door. I understand that sometimes, due to an animal, you cant get to the door because it can be unsafe. I don't understand why they couldn't try again. They tried once and then just left it at that since they weren't able to the first time. And I wouldn't be heated if the employee at the Canyon US Postal Service wasn't so rude to me. Like its not my fault that my friends NEIGHBOR'S dog is ON A LEASH in the front yard and it's not my friends fault either. Just do your job! Terrible service.

I sent a Christmas card to my nephew Logan in Canyon around the 18th of December. He has not received yet. Is it possible the mail is quite slow?

Terrible service. Lost another package though PO said it was delivered Monday. On Monday I only got one letter from home shield and the rest of the mail was the neighbor's around the corner. Thin old lady with long gray hair was super rude and couldn't have cared less. This place needs to be investigated by the higher ups. Almost all the reviews of this post office day the same thing. Wrong person's mail, can't get the packages to the correct address or get them there at all. I doubt this review does anything to fix it as it's at least the 4th complaint I've made in as many years. Completely inept group of condescending, apathetic dolts.

I wanted to report rural carrier placing personal notes on paper to look for missing dogs and coloradio area code phone numbers. This is in our locked mailbox, in between the regular mail. This should not be happening.
