Why is there only one drop-off station on the North side of the Allen, Texas post office? Many times the station is crammed full and you cannot deposit your mail there. You then have to drive around to the front, park your car and go inside to drop off a piece of mail. This is ridiculous! There is plenty of room to have one or two additional containers. Hey folks, Allen is growing, there is need for extra container. This was one of the problems at the old post office.

I moved from one Allen address to another Allen address. Filled out the change of address forms in advance. Stopped getting mail a week before I moved and I’ve been in the home I moved to and still haven’t seen my mail. It’s been over 3 weeks since I’ve received any mail. Not even junk mail. Nobody will answer the phone and the post office is over crowded. Talk about BS!

It took nearly a year in my case. It is time to privatize, I hate that but it’s time.

Who designed the parking at the New Allen Post Office? Was it a Texas A&M student? It really sucks to get in and out of the parking lot when it is busy. I could have done better, and for $5 million less.

You have a wonderful much needed new facility. We have lived in Allen for over 20 years and have seen it grow. I would just like to point out a small thing at your location. The outside mailbox is stuffed full most of the time. Would you consider putting in an additional mailbox ? Thank you and hope you will consider this request Beverly Andersen

The drive-thru outside mailboxes are always full. I'm 0-4 on being to use them at the new location. I don't feel comfortable leaving the mail when anyone can grab the letters sticking out. I've had to go inside every time to safely drop off my letters to be mailed.

Why is the outside mail receptacle ALWAYS FULL !! When I have an important item to mail, I take it to the Post Office. Every time I have gone to the new location, it is no better than the old one. Always full!! I'm not getting out of the car and mailing it inside....for obvious reasons. Why do I always have to drive to McKinney (where they hade the foresight to install two boxes)?? Can someone address this!!

To all due respect to the workers in Allen's post office as I think my complaint has more to do with management . We have a business reply account that must be funded in order for the PO to process our business reply envelopes from our consulting business. I keep several hundred dollars in the postal account due to the volume of the mail coming to us. In order to replenish the funds, I must go in person to the PO and the postal worker do the transaction. For the past 5 years only 1 person knows how to do this transaction. Today, I was told that person out on vacation till next week and Ishould return. The postal worker tried to process my funding and was successful. How and why aren't every trained on this function? Do I have the only postal account in Allen? I doubt that...i understand the transaction may not be daily, but geez..write down the steps and have one copy at each station! Again, this has to be a failure on management. And if there now is an online way to do this....please let me know.

Allen has had the worst problem with the postal system here. I have everything delivered by UPS or Fed Ex now because we have had too many problems not receiving prescription medication and other mail. We just finally gave up.

The large parcel collection dropoff cabinet doesn't work, again. Save the expense and time and find an alternate carrier.

I called a Post Office near Allen, TX to try to figure out why I couldn't get a hold of anyone at the Allen, TX Post Office. They gave me this number and someone picked up at the Allen Post Office and was very helpful: (972) 727 - 2611 Hope that helps.

I have attempted to call this post office for some forwarding information, but no one answers. No wonder snail mail is going to the wayside - no friendly folks out there - even in a small town? Too bad.

I am afraid to do Any more mass mailings for my business since the last one only got About 14 PCS delivered. 4 on another one were put in one mailbox. Etc. I also saw a letter in my web view as well as other people’s ad mailings that I should get that had never been delivered. Allen and coppell need a sweep to see what’s sitting around and what’s the problem is there.

The phone line is either busy or just hangs up on you! Went to the facility to get passports, only to see a sign that says the passport office was closed. So I can't call the location to confirm the passport office is open and have to drive there to find out it's closed. My hand is forced to use this location to renew my minor's passport otherwise I would not give them my business. Someone at this location is literally picking up the phone and just hanging it up!!!

Parents sent me a package, tracking number shows it was delivered to the mail box this past Friday, 09.28.2018. I've checked and there is nothing there. I called the apartment office and they do not receive packages, as we have PARCEL///PENDING @ are apartments. So I reached out to the post office via phone with no help. This was a birthday gift for my son so this is very important to find. I have noticed that mail has been deposited in the wrong mail box multiple times by the postal service, and I'm hoping that this is not the situation. We're not all honest.

Why won't you answer the phone at the Allen Post Office? I have real complaints. I had my red flag up on my mailbox for you to pick up pre-paid mail packages for several days and you just cram the new mail in the box beside the outgoing mail. And leave the red flag up on the box. Meanwhile my customers are not having their mail delivered to them in a timely manner. This is WRONG!

I ordered a few items online and have been waiting to receive them for a while now. So, after getting an email saying it was shipped there was some confusion as far as tracking and delivery. I called the post office directly and spoke to the nicest man named Robert Lee. Not only was he prompt, thorough and helpful, but he was also very informative. Thank you Mr. Lee for helping me and taking the time to answer all my questions. Good customer service is rare these days, and it is very appreciated. I could't have asked for better customer service. Thanks again!

This is the worst Post Office. Everyday the mailboxes outside are over flowing. Even today at 12:30 they were full. I know there is someone inside that Post Office that can empty those mailboxes more than 1x a day right at 5:00pm when every body is coming to mail there stuff for the day. If everybody else is busy a MANAGER should do it. That is what our MANAGERS do. EMPTY THE MAILBOXES. You get paid for that

Please do training with all mail carriers to NOT stuff packages, (even ones with bubble wrap on the inside), into mail boxes. "All" packages in soft packaging or boxes, should be delivered to the front porch (like they use to be!). This is so that they don't get damaged by stuffing them into a mailbox, stolen from the mailbox, or if they contain medications they don't sit in a hot mailbox getting ruined. I have lived in the same house in Allen since 1994, and our current postal carrier is the worst we've had! Previous carriers always brought small & large packages to the porch.....never leaving anything in the mailbox at the street except for regular mail. I tried calling the Allen Post Ofc. multiple times during regular business hours, but it just rang forever & then hung up on me...so I can't even get a message to my mail carrier! I tried calling the main 1-800 USPS #, but you have to give a tracking # in order to discuss any "carrier" issues.....seems like they are only interested in issues with packages, not customer svc. with the carriers. And the wait time to speak with a cust. svc. rep., was 30-40 minutes. How in the world do I get this complaint to my mail carrier, so it can stop!!

Dear Post Master General. My PO Box is always stuff full of Advertisement papers and sometimes I see a yellow card in my box to pick-up mail from the window. My ideal is to place the advertisement papers on a stand out in the lobby area and not put them in individual boxes to keep the box clear for personal mail and limit use of yellow cards. if someone would like the coupons from the advertisement paper then they can get it from the stand in the lobby. Also this would limit of trash in the recycle cans and trash cans and each week an individual can change out the stand with new advertisements.

I do not see why the mail carrier can take the handicapped spot and cause a disabled person to have to take a regular spot and walk farther? 659 junction drive allen tx - can someone talk to her? It was frustrating to me.

We've had a letter in the mailbox waiting to be picked up for three days. I called during business hours to report the problem and the phone has rung continuously for five minutes. This is on top of the routinely late delivery we see all of the time.

Why has our mail service become so poor that residential mail is delivered to me after 6:00 pm? It used to be here by 1:00 pm every day & now i never know when it will arrive. I'm sure there are lots of people needing jobs so lack of workforce is not an option. Very inconvenient to say the least

We work at one of the local businesses. A very large one, so there should be no confusion about the address. We have clients mail us envelopes with the correct address. They are returned. When we have repeatedly called the Allen Post Office and they never answer their phone. Various workers from our building have come down to the actual post office and they are rude and just dismiss it. They say they aren't sure why or the address didn't contain a person's name (only the name of our company). We have a mailroom. We will figure it out. I urge you to check their ratings online for yourself. Someone needs to go in reorganize that place. It has nothing but a bad reputation.

This is the worst postal service I've ever had. Most of the time the automated machine at the PO isn't working. I've had a package sitting in one of the larger boxes at my residence for 3 days because the key I was left is bent and won't open the box. I've left a note for the carrier to either move it to the other box or leave it on my porch and nothing. I don't have time to call the PO during business hours, not that i could get through anyway. Ridiculous!

I called to report that my outgoing mail had not been taken, my incoming mail was left in my box on top of what was supposed to be taken out. I began calling at 5:15 pm, since the office closes at 6pm. The phone rang and rang...no one answered at all and then the office closed at 6pm. I guess I'm out of luck getting service.
