Week after week, year after year, USPS 79601 distribution center receives mail from the East or West which needs to go to points North - but mis-directs it to (or back to) Lubbock. Their employees that sort are either drunk, high, in need of remedial reading skills or simply don't care. Their supervisor must be a real prize.

I don’t know her name but I just wanted to say what an amazing mail lady we have over here on Kirkwood street. She is so nice and personable. Always so friendly. She also went out of her way to bring my husbands wallet and put it in our mailbox when someone a few blocks over found it and turned it over to her to possible find whom it belonged. She immediately recognized the ID and brought it straight here. There should be more like her all over. Thanks!

Bought a new house, all paperwork have two different zip codes. None knows where the mail is delivered to. One of the past owners daughters said it was five miles from the house somewhere by a church. Called the 800 number and the local number noone ever answers the phone. Could someone please [number removed]

I am infuriated that a package sent to my family was left at the road by the mailbox today. It had 200 dollars worth of items in it. Thankfully family was home and could get it. I am disgusted that the mail person couldnt be bothered. Please treat our mail and packages with more care from now on.

My red flag has been up for two days bow. I just watched the mail man drive past my office and pull up to the store next to us deliver their mail and drive away. So this is day 2 that they ignored my red flag!!! This is so inconvenient for a business.

Due to the weather they have been closed the last 4 days. When are they going to be open so I can drop off a package that needs to be sent?!

I placed mail in the blue receptacle in the parking lot at Judge Ely and North 10th, only to discover there was a jam of mail in the top of the unit. Please investigate and empty the container. I tried reporting this by phone but apparently it is impossible to talk to a human any more.

I am getting extremely tired of having to walk around homeless people sleeping on the floor of the Post Office on Pine St. This needs to be stopped as they have other options available.

Don't be a b**** yeah it sucks that you have to deal with homeless people I guess but they do deserve a warm place to sleep f****** c***

Not sure why you’re attacking her. She’s right. She shouldn’t have to deal w/ homeless people at the Post Office. It’s a place for mail. Like she stated there are other options.

There is litterally only one option in Abilene for the homeless. It's very limited and you have to pay within a week of living there, which is not enough time to make money if you are truely homeless. I've done my research. Also I have been homeless before and trying to sleep anywhere you get the cops called on you and therefore go days sometimes weeks without sleep. All I'm saying is just be a decent human being and maybe buy someone a meal or give them a blanket. Or if you have a problem with it take it up with city counsel. Just be nice. But I'm the bad guy for calling the wench out right? God forbid if you have to walk around a homeless person right? Just be a decent human being. Epecially during this time where everyone is struggling so hard just to keep the power on

Maybe those homeless people doesn't have a different option or can't get to the other option but remember what God says that the homeless will inherit the kingdom and the greatest commandment is love don't be so harsh humble yourself and thank God that your blessed with the home unlike them if you're that concerned about walking around them maybe you can take them in and help those poor souls out from the frigate cold, their lives matter just ask God ! They are God's children they are God's perfection and God Don't Make mistakes...

Josh, I find it humorous that you’re trying to take some kind of a humanitarian stance while using abusive language toward another person. It’s pretty obvious from your lack of vocabulary that you’re nothing but ignorant trash who is big and tough behind a keyboard. Grow up

Usually about once a month we will get someone else’s mail. Makes me wonder who is getting some of my mail. It’s 6:30pm and my mail has not been delivered. It has been getting later and later the last few months. Is our delivery person overwhelmed?

in the last few weeks I have mailed birthday cards to two people in Brownwood. I live in Stephenville but I know the mail goes to Abilene for sorting. Both cards were delivered torn open, one was in a bag saying it was damaged at the Abilene post office. The money was missing! The other card did not have money in it. Sirs, I think you have a thief that opens cards looking for money! Two cards out of two were opened, thats not a coincidence!

This is so out of control and I do not understand! Why can your carriers for Callahan County not get the mail to the correct address or state that the driveway was blocked when it was not. I do not understand why it is not corrected!!!!!!!!

I have been waiting on a package that was handed off to the post office on june the 21st and has not had any info scents I wish that the dilivery people like fedex and ups would not hand off freight to the post office because they are very good at losing items and delayed and lost by the USPS I live in Bangs Texas its gotten to the point that I hate to see that a package has been handed off to the USPS because I know it WILL BE DELAYED OR LOST.

With everything going on in the world, I was hesitant to write anything. However, it is getting out of hand. 7 times in the last 3 months, our deliveries have been put in other people’s boxes. 5 times in the last 3 months, we have gotten other people’s deliveries. 6 times in the last 3 months, we have gotten notifications saying that our deliveries were dropped off, but we don’t actually see them until 1-2 days later. Twice, in the same amount of time, we have gotten a notification that they couldn’t deliver because they didn’t have access to the delivery location, yet, I got my junk mail that day. We also put outgoing mail, usually bills, in our box and it won’t get picked up. Even though the flag is up. Our only saving grace is that we send those out about a week early to ensure we don’t get late fees. While we have ended up with our items, eventually, it’s very nerve wracking.

On June 5th, I went to the downtown Post Office to get a key for one of those cluster boxes in the neighborhood where my house is being built. I was told that I would be getting a phone call about my key. I went back downtown on June 17th thinking that enough time had passed. No, they did not have my key yet. I went back today, June 23. My key is still not ready. That cluster box has been there at least since October of 2016 as seen in a Google Street Maps picture. I would think those keys would have been produced when the box was made. So, this wait for a key, or keys, to be made is inexcusable. Thanks

For two weeks now we have had packages not delivered with the comment “package not delivered due to driveway blocked”. Our mailbox is directly across from our mailbox with a wide open, not gated, entrance. Both of these packages have been time sensitive and have caused issues with such delays. We live in Callahan county and have verified with 911 our address is correct. Please work with your carrier so they deliver correctly because our driveway and house is fully accessible. Thank you.

I have an email that my package was delivered to Abilene Texas Post Office on May 8, 2020, and as of May 26, 2020 I still have not received it. Also I cannot make any contact with trying to call them. Very dissatisfied with this service. This package should have reached Brady by May 15 at the latest (as in the past months).

The tracking shows that the package was in Abilene Texas for 2 days and will be delivered on 5/15/2020. How is it possible for the Abilene post office to hold the package for 2 days?

I need to know how to get the correct mail. I have been getting other people’s mail and if I put a note on it that it’s the wrong address the carrier ignores it and it stays in my mailbox. I wind up delivering it. I am also missing some important mail involving W2 forms that are needed to do my income tax. If it’s going to the wrong address I may never get it. Please advise!!

I have called numerous times in the afternoon trying to speak to a human. All I ever get is an answering machine. I know you are busy but so is every one else in this life. I have had mail delivered to my house for just about everyone on this block except for me. Can someone please answer the phone.
