I would like to communicate serious concern regarding the appearance of the powell post office. The grass was over a foot tall before it was mowed this spring. Whoever mowed did a horrible job. There are piles of sticks and vines growing into the large evergreen out front. Since the storms, there are piles of large dead tree limbs everywhere. This facility is at the entrance to our subdivision and is an eyesore for the neighborhood. This has never happened before. We all pay tax dollars and a federal budget should allocate dollars for this. Please clean up the property! It looks abandoned!
Dec 30 I received notice that I had a package for delivery that needed a signature.
On Dec 31 I waited for the postman and gave her my signed receipt, she stated she didn’t have the item on her truck that they’ll deliver it on Jan 3;
I left the signed receipt in my mailbox on Jan 3; they didn’t leave my package but took my signed receipt. I called the Powell post office and she was going to talk to the mail carrier and it would be deliver Jan 4:
Jan 4; I don’t have my package, I tried calling the Powell PO and couldn’t get anyone to answer! My package is on someone’s truck or they lost it! I want my package or the signed receipt back! This is very upsetting!!!!
Not a review, a question..the post office won't deliver my mail, they say my mailbox is too far from the road (about 6 feet) it's on Brickyard road and I'm afraid it will get run down if it's closer (I'm on a curve). How close to the road does it need to be?
In the last 2 weeks I've had packages crammed into my mailbox . Both times have resulted in damage to the contents . If the letter carrier in question cannot perform their duties correctly they should be replaced.
Will someone please tell the person that delivers the mail on Tori Kait Ln. to close the mailbox doors. Our mail is falling out and is getting wet when it rains. Thank you.
