Always a friendly greeting from the counter people and my route delivery people. Thank you!

I’m so disgusted with the Portland Post Office. I’m having issues with my mail carrier. My husband called and complained - no relief. I called and complained - no relief. I went to Post Office and clerk assured me my issue would be taken care of - not yet. I’ve called today 1/25/2023) six times and no one answers. My husband called twice - no answers. I’ve just about had it with these people.

poor place for a post office. The tracking number was delivered to Portland. They allowed my package to be picked up by someone other than the addressee. Also, no one will ever answer the phone at Portland PO Therefore, the USPS needs to investigate this facility. Now, WTF.... according to the tracking number, they allowed someone to retrieve my package at 6:21am. I demand answers ASAP

My review would be a 1. I visited your post office on Sunday to mail a few items and needed stamps. I would believe a post office would be a perfect place to purchase stamps, but this post office doesn't even have a stamp machine in their front entrance to buy stamps. I could not believe my eyes that this was the main post office for Portland Tn and they didn't provide a stamp machine nor a counter to box or wrap any item you would be shipping but I guess I would see where they would not need this as they don't have any way to buy stamps to ship anything. Very disappointed in this one horse post office. Maybe when UPS or FedEx takes over this will be one of the offices updated or closed.
