We haven't had delivery or pickup on 10/13 or 10/14. It is 6:08 pm and no sign of delivery. I am waiting for healthcare documents. Can you tell me why we have no service?

I am sick and tired of your delivery person for my area is not doing his job correctly. He or she is starting to cost me money. Losing mail, delivering the wrong mail and not picking up mail when the flag is raised for pick up. Either fire this person or teach them to read and do their job correctly. You can either address this issue or I will start charging you for my late payments due to your postal worker. I want to know what you intend to do about this mess out here. 216 S. Patty Rd. 37924. Please consider this as a formal complaint.

If these reviews are not read by the postmaster, then what’s the use? No wonder the taxpayers must continue to financially bail out USPS!

I put 2 letters in the mailbox outside of this branch back in April. It is August and neither of the 2 letters were ever delivered. I have called the branch daily and no one ever answers the line. I have gone to the branch and it is always closed even though it is during operating hours. No one can tell me what happened to my mail.

I want to thank the Burlington Post office for going out of their way to help me. They have tracked down packages for me and and we are fortunate to have an awesome mailman "Chuck" he is what every mailman should be. He brings my packages up to my door, puts them in the dry when raining if he has to leave them and even retrieved packages for me from wrong deliveries made by the fill in mail man. I am 72 and his kindness and smile warms my day. Thank you all at Burlington Branch.

This past Saturday two boxes were put on the ground at our mailbox. Our mail carrier usually is a very nice man and has never done this in the past. Must have been a different carrier. Luckily I saw the boxes and got them but besides having alot of wild animals around, these boxes were fair game for anyone. It would have taken less than 1 minute to at least put them on the porch. I am not happy about this and I wonder how many packages do people have stolen because of laziness!!!!!

We must have a new carrier on our route. We've had some erratic mail deliveries in the past. But this past month, may be COVID related, we have had mail of multiple persons/addresses dumped in our mailboxes. In the past 3 weeks I watched as the delivery person tried jamming an oversize box into my mailbox and she sat blocking my driveway for at least 3 minutes yes. The next week they backed up and dumped a box out the back onto my driveway. Thank heavens nothing breakable. This week another delivery left in my driveway with loose mail on top. Glad there was no rain today. Previous mail person would deliver and place on the front porch. Not sure if it aims a new person, they are understaffed or if the person just doesnt care. Usually we have a great neighborhood PO staff. I've been really disappointed.

I read these reviews and can't believe it is the same P.O. branch. My mail carrier doesn't even want to come up the steps to my door to deliver packages. He will either try to shove a package into my tiny mailbox or he will come halfway up and toss the package to the middle of the deck. I sent a package to Idaho through them and paid over $20 to send it. I did not know the person could not receive packages at their home and it was returned. The package never left the custody of USPS and somehow it was partially opened. When it came back to me, I was forced to pay the same amount it cost to ship it to get it back because it was partially opened. I had a package that for two or three weeks said it was in transit and last at some kind of hub. I called to find out where it was and when I could expect it as it was well past due to arrive. It was on my doorstep the next day. You would think after the issues receiving it the carrier would have rung my doorbell and handed it to me in person and apologize on behalf of USPS. When a friend went in to inquire about moving my mailbox to my apartment as I am disabled and can't get to my box, I was told I would have to fill out a form (I am okay with this and having my doctor sign off) and then it would be at the discretion of the carrier whether or not he wanted to come up to my apartment to deliver the mail. I have mentioned these things to a retired postal worker I know and even he is appalled. USPS is not what it used to be. They stopped caring.

Our Postman Chuck is a great guy. Also, when I go to the Burlington Branch, all of the front desk folks are so friendly. I’m glad to have people like they are serving our community it the John Soviet area off of Rutledge Pike. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best service!!! A 10 +++

Warm thanks to the postal worker from Burlington P.O. (Knoxville, TN) who tracked down and hand delivered our previously missing package on New Year's Eve afternoon. This service seems above and beyond, and we appreciate it. All our interactions with this post office branch have been positive, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. 12.31.16
