Why do you not have a lobby machine that sells stamps? I used to be able to buy them there. Instead I had to wait in a long line. This post office is bury enough as it is where your postal workers are flooded with people. Please consider it in the future.

This the worst post office, and I've never seen such poor delivery service. I get email notifications that mail will be delivered, but it doesn't always arrive as specified.

I live in the Carolina Park Townhomes. The postal service is terrible. I have informed delivery and have not received that mail in the past three days. There is someone different here every single day and not one person knows what they’re doing. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t have three pieces of mail that don’t belong to me. What the hell is going on?

Worst post office in history. Paid for something to be overnighted only to get an alter it wasn’t delivered and brought to post office with 10 minutes til close only to the beginning give ZERO mail and ZERO explanation

Shoutout to Elizabeth at the Post Office in Mt Pleasant and our mail carrier Antonio for outstanding customer service today while I was trying to get my mail before going out of town. Restored my faith in humanity today!!

I mailed a box on 6/9/22. As of 6/20/22, the tracking shows it’s still in the Mount Pleasant post office. The “gentleman” at the counter says it “takes a while”. This is the worst post office in the country. A good reason why the government should never be in charge of anything.

The Mt. Pleasant US mail box drive up outside is almost always full and unable to enter a letter. This has been going on for years. Why can't there be a second box? I know the employees will never go out to empty it early so I will not suggest that.

I ordered an item from Walmart - it was shipped from the seller thru the USPS. I have not received it, even though an e-mail stated it was delivered. Tracking No. 5692101157468. It was not put in my mailbox nor left in the main building.

I am a property manager for Long Grove in Mt P. The complaints I get re: mail being delivered to the wrong box or not at all is ongoing. The residents are furious. What can be done to improve service?

I wish I had read these reviews before getting my passport appointment. The gentleman who took my photo seemed really disgruntled. I tried to talk with him because it was making me uncomfortable. Best part - he stapled my REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE to the forms. And I had a copy that was attached in the form too. When I asked him, are you supposed to do that? He told me they would send back my Certificate. Please go elsewhere to get this done. I was naive to think this was a new policy. Just ridiculous.

I had the same gentleman. And I had a very unpleasant experience with him as well. I will be filing a complaint with that post office and we'll as the post office master/general. He shouldn't be working with the public.

I've been here 30 years and I can't believe how far down this post office is gone. You need to clean up your act and do your jobs better that mailbox outside it's always stuffed shameful

This has to be one of the lowest rated Post Offices for accuracy. Ask for a signature, you get a signature waiver. Ask for flat rate, get the most expensive option. Wow- I believe training is in order for this location…… badly.

Ordered an item and it was apparently put into someone else's box at our offices. The item was of course marked delivered, so I can't mark as never received because the carrier said it was. So I called and get told it was a new carrier filling in for the regular person. the guy I spoke with said he talked the the new and regular carrier, they know what box it was in and it would be handled. That was last week, not a word since!! Not HAPPY!

Two years in a row when I submitted a hold mail request with the option that I would pick up the mail, the Mt. Pleasant post office failed in their duty and delivered the mail. When I called the post office about this issue, all I got was excuses and blame being put on our carrier. This issue needs to be addressed.

This is Thumbs up to our postal worker. My neighbor 's recycling bin was blocking the mail boxes. The worker exited his truck, picked up the bin, then placed the mail in our boxes. All with a kind smile and greeting. Do not know his name, but wanted you to know what a good worker he appears to be. His route is the North end of Rifle Range Rd.

Recently moved to oyster point and not receiving mail. Have called 4 days straight and spoke to Mike on two days (6/11 and 6/12) and Precious on 6/12) I was informed they would check into reason for not getting our mail and assured me they would call back They have my cell phone No call backs!!! No one answering phone at 843-884-8221 Very disappointed!!!!!!!

Today a postman delivered my small packages to my door instead of stuffing them into my mailbox. His name is Don Fuci. I thanked him profusely when he handed me the packages and I hope this practice continues. I hope you will let him read this praise of his "good works". Your post office is the worst post office that I've ever dealt with. I've lived a cross the USA and have never dealt with such rude, no caring employees in my life. Everyone from management to front desk should be fired. Have you not read the reviews on your location? There all negative!!! If you don't like your job quit. I'm sure there are pleasant people out there willing to go above and beyond to help others. Unfortunately these people do not exist at your location. We is the postmaster? Is he part of the problem also. I used to use you for all my shipping, but UPS and DHL will be my new go to shipping companies. Thanks for making this decision so easy.

I have had multiple problems with receiving packages this year. Twice I have ordered prints that were in lay flat boxes but were bent and shoved into my mailbox because the mailman was too lazy to carry it to my door. Now I received a slip for a book I ordered that they weren't able to cram into my mailbox and again too lazy to walk to my door. This is insane. I also have been asked by the mailman when I'm walking around our neighborhood to walk a package up to someone's door for them. i always want to give people the benefit of the doubt but this is too many instances. It has got to get better I will not just keep having stuff ruined that I order because of pure laziness without doing anything about it.

The worst customer service in the state of South Carolina. The customer service is the most rude and hateful group of people I have ever met. Oh yes have to agree with one of the other reviews racist absolutely, if your white forget any help at all. Try calling, never answer the telephone and if so rude, rude rude.....and it goes all the way to the top in Columbia, another racist jerk. Will drive to Charleston to avoid this zoo.

It's nearly impossible to get through to these folks on the phone, and if you do they are terribly rude. The worst of the clerical workers! Rude, condescending, and not the least bit helpful. Last straw USPS - going paperless on everything, and you deserve it.

Not racist, just don;t know the guys name. However, the tall, skinny black male, is a lazy piece of shit! I have seen this guy, unknown name, literally throw mail onto the windshield of someones car because he was too lazy to get out of his truck. I have also "SEEN" him throw a package at a neighbors front doorstep from the roadway (approximately 30-40 feet away) because he is lazy! He always has a bad attitude, and I have confirmation emails showing a package was supposed to be delivered on a certain date, but was not because he refused to get out of his truck. He just left it until the next person worked that route, and it is annoying. He is lazy, and needs to be FIRED! He works in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Had a Sunday delivery to my work, was notified that I was closed and a missed delivery slip was posted. I'm here at my bldg until 4pm not closed, no slip was posted. The package was needed for work today and now I'm delayed due to lazy incompetence. It was even small enough to go in the mail box.

The jerk answering the phone at the Mount Pleasant Post Office: 1050 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 needs to be fired!!!!!! He was extremely rude and unprofessional. His (not so) smart remarks to my concerns were uncalled for. Just the way he spoke to me made me realize the calls into the office are not being recorded. If he is the manager of that particular branch, everyone needs to pray for the poor employees that have to work for that arrogant jackass!
