Very dissappointed with the usps of Goose Creek 29445. Yesterday 3/23/23 they said delivered a package at my daughter's mail box at it is not true, no where to be found and in the package I was sending medications for my daughter for flu like symptoms. Check case #49410706

I see nothing but negative comments, and that really concerns me. I've used this post office for quite awhile to mail out packages to my customers. I have never had a 'bad' experience there, and to call out one employee by name,Mr. Lewis;he is always friendly, respectful, and very helpful. I think he does his job perfectly, have never had a problem. I've never had an excessively long wait either,in fact I had much longer waits at Postal Pal when it was open, the rates were higher, and they screwed up a couple of my shipments.

Does anybody have an actual email address that is read by actual employees at this location?

I was watching the mail man today. There was a car part on the road. Was not blocking my mail a Box. There were plenty of space to get my mail box. He never made an effort. Is this the new procedure

Why don't you answer your phone. Was on hold for a solid hour. There is no submit key to send an email.

Came in today to mail payment for important bills. The lobby was not open due to bad weather (snow). Interesting to me that the nearby Publix grocery store was open. What happened to the post office philosophy of working in all sorts of weather?

My passport application was taken in by Goose Creek. It was returned to me via TX stating that it was found loose in the mail. All my personal information is on it per the requirements of the application. Just Stellar.

What an unpleasant phone call. I mean this people need a class of how to be polite and learn to do not cut people of, when they are talking. How can you ask a question properly if people keep interrupting you...also they keep talking to you at the phone like in such a hurry and when they are done with you, they just hang the phone without saying like thank you for calling the Post Office, have a great day for example. Obviously, I'm not the first person complaining about the same issue. Something needs to get fix and it looks like nobody is doing anything about it.

I hate going to this place. The workers are obnoxious. It does not cost a thing to be polite or even let me finish my sentence before cutting me off. We all here the same problems at our jobs. It's part of our job to be helpful and polite every time not at our convenience. I hope they just restaff the whole office. I have never had a pleasurable experience here and google rating say the same thing. They are consistently obnoxious.

AGREE!!!! I had the most horrible experience there today with none other than the Post Master Ms. Martin. The most racist, redneck, rude woman I've met here. My wife is proud to be an American Citizen now for 12 years in this country from Cuba. This lady treated us like she was some stupid illegal Latino with no business speaking with her. This all done in front of about 20 people and my son. I filed a complaint against this woman, call 1800 ASK USPS and complain, maybe our Government will do something about her. This isn't the cable company or the Electric company, this was the UNITED STATES POST OFFICE a Federal Building with Federal Employees working there. This country was built on people from all over the world, that's what makes being a US citizen so special. Ms. Martin I hope you haven't raised your children or grandchildren to be a racist b**** like yourself.

The folks at Postal Pal across from the Dollar General are always friendly and efficient, as are the staff at the small little place, only open a few years, in the Walmart Shopping Center. Both shops have people who are delighted to chat about available stamps...as am I....I even scored the last 2 sheets of the recent "Batman" forever series.
Now, I'm from NYC....If you need to go to the any US Post Office there, plan on scheduling 1-2 hours of your time to this errand. The postal workers there are so overworked, harried and obviously stressed, you almost want to jump behind the counter and offer to help! So, Mr. L in Goose Creek, you're OK in my book...I've never had a problem there, nor waited for more than one or two visitors before me. So, give a guy a break and chill...and don't be so hard on folks. Remember, Christmas is coming...be kind!
Sincerely, Phyllis M. In Hanahan

I avoid going there and go to Postal Pal nearby instead. The main postal guy has the attitude of a prison guard. I hate it there.

I agree, the workers at the Goose Creek office is never friendly and I dread ever having to go there. The african american gentleman's name is Lewis and you're right, he is the worst of them all. If he hate serving people, he should just find another job. Also, they make-up and change hours at their own convenience 8:30 - 4:30 is not convenient for the general public (isn't serving the general public the purpose of the post office?). Hopefully the General Postmaster will recognize, this branch is terrible and will make some real changes.

Yep I don't even go to this post office, because of that same man, even though it is the closest to me. I drive out of my way to the one in Ladson because they have always been very friendly & helpful to me. That same man was my customer once, he did not realize it, but he treated all of us like idiots then too, even though we were nothing but nice to him. You almost feel threatened, as bad as the attitude is, coming from a big guy like that too. I can never understand what he is asking me either, he says it so extremely fast I don't even have time to think, & I don't dare ask! When I have to go there, if he is the next available, I let the person behind me go ahead of me, so I can talk to someone else..lol!

I have been going to this post office for years and I always hope I'll have a good experience. I rarely do, but I give them the benefit of the doubt because this is their job. And even though they aren't ever friendly, they are usually fast and efficient and I do appreciate that. Well today was THE WORST experience I have had there and it was over STAMPS. The African-American gentleman that has worked up front for like a decade always manages to say things that sound like manners (yes ma'am/thank you/have a great day) but says it so curtly and brusque it just comes across as "you're stupid, get out." Well this afternoon (at approx. 4pm) I went in and asked if I could get a book of stamps and he starts ringing up flag stamps without even asking me what I would like. When I ask about other stamps, he begins to raise his voice and basically berate me about how limited edition stamps are 66 cents and regular stamps are 46 and am I sure I want those? He flusters me and makes me feel incredibly stupid and I finally get a basic book of stamps that I want (of course not until he managed to call everyone's attention to it). It was terrible. I'm tired of going to this post office and praying I don't get him. Please start treating people like human beings.
