The US postal service in Puerto Rico appears to be in management crisis. The personnel at the main distribution hub in Catano have lost traceable packages and parcels sometimes for over a month. What is more curious is that most of the lost or delayed parcels contain valuables or commodities as checks, credit cards or marketable goods. When clients call to the national customer service line to place claims, it results that is Puerto Rico, the piece on the relay, which is delaying or losing the parcels. The Puerto Rico local phone numbers offered by the national USPS customer service line are always either busy or out of service. So no one seems to care or take responsibility for the losses. Most critical are the Postal Offices services in the west coast of the Island, when the worst example can be cited in Cabo Rojo at Calle Carbonell, who's postal carriers don't even care, they place ones correspondence in the wrong houses mail boxes and even the regular mail is getting lost once it gets into the wrong hands. Isn't indeed a federal felony to misappropriate from goods in transit through the postal service? Or, is that how it used to be and I'm too old school to believe in the integrity of federal employees?
