How do you get through to the post office if they never answer the phone? Then it is busy? I have a shipment coming in one need to know how to pick it up
Why are we in Wiltshire Development having trouble getting our mail? It is almost 7 PM and have not received mail. This is not the only time this has happened! Can we get a resolution to this problem? Thank you.
Warning: There is a thief (or thieves) at this relatively small post office. In Dec. 2018 my company's new mail pharmacy, Express Scripts, sent a 3 month supply of my ADD medication, Adderal, a schedule II drug. In addition to a tracking number, this 1st class packet required the postal carrier to obtain an adult signature of the person accepting the package at the listed address.
According to the scans, my packet arrived at the Oxford Post office on Dec.4 @ 7:37am and went out for delivery the same day @ 9:14am. I was home that day and, when I heard the postal truck at about 11:30am, I stepped out the back door expecting the postman drive up the drive w/my packet to sign for. Instead, I heard him drive off after leaving my regular mail in my curbside box!?!
My medication went into a black hole never to be seen again from there. I made a police report, I met with the post master who admitted (in person and on paper w/his letterhead) that my package had disappeared while in the Oxford USPS chain of custody.
Now, here is the kicker: IT JUST HAPPENED AGAIN!!!!!
After the 1st theft, I directed Express Scripts to send my meds via FedEx 2day w/signature required and received my meds without a glitch every time. Well, someone at ES dropped the ball this time and again, sent my meds usps with them ending up at the Oxford Post office on Sep.1st...never to be seen again (I'm writing this on sept.12th).
My signature required meds just vanish into thin air 2 out of 2 times? Same address? Same drug? Same postman?
According to a few news reports I've found online regarding these USPS "in house" drug thefts, it seems the sound of pills within the packet and the fact that a signature is required is a flashing "steal me" sign to these postal crooks.
I don't believe in coincidences and I have no doubt this is happening to others who receive their meds via this post office. If it does happen to you, MAKE SURE to report it to police and ESPECIALLY USPIS (uspis.gov).
