i have been using this post office for a few years and i honestly can’t complain. The ladies that work the front desks aren’t always in the best of moods but they do have a lot on their plates and they do their job very well. Throughout COVID-19 when everything abruptly shut down and people were trying new means of income to supplement for the one they lost without warning, myself being one of those people. i sell cosmetics, skincare, hair care, clothes, & shoes through several online selling platforms - which requires shipping customers their products and allooot of packages circling (packages with new product coming in & lots of outgoing packages to customers). i have had no issues with this post office and the hundreds (possibly even 1000+) packages i’ve handled. even during november-december 2020 when USPS nationwide were buried in mountains of mail and packages, the workers at this location never missed a beat! yesterday i had informed deliver set up on my phone for a package that i was receiving. somehow it ended up going to my address that i had just moved out of. so i went to the apartment to get the package thats tracking shows it was delivered in the mailbox and it’s not there. went to hershey post office and the man i spoke with took my name/number down and said he would have someone call me. long story short, Paul Smith, a supervisor, called me to tell me that my package is there and that my slum—‘er—-landlord apparently was the security guard of that particular mailbox and gave my package back to the mail carrier. hey, at least she serves some sort of purpose. right? lol thank heavens i moved. paul called me back and left me a message letting me know the package was there and he can accommodate ne with which ever option i would like to get it in my possession. amazing customer service!! thank you so so much.

can you check the mail box at the east end of the outlets in Hershey for a piece of mail going to Jean Fasching, 1830 Milton Grove Road, Mt Joy, Pa 17552. We mailed it on July 24. She has not received that mail. Thank you, Sylvia Miller

Had to wait for 40 minutes to mail four first class letters. Only one postal person at counter and they were doing four passports

I had an appointment for a passport application. I arrive well before my appointment time. I rang the bell repeatedly. I could hear people in the back. After ringing the bell repeatedly, knocking and calling out, trying to call, until after my appointment time was over. Idk how I'm supposed to apply for my passport. This is insanity. No wonder usps is struggling, their service is horrible.

Are you telling me there is no Hershey Post Office Parking?! I am floored you would do this to the residents!!! It is chaos here and there is no parking nor a box I can drive up to and mail my Christmas cards! This is shocking to me! Guess tourists are so much more important. Really sad that you and Derry township would do this! Disgusted!

Same! I live a mile away and took me more than double the time just to find parking across the side street! They told me the choices were: behind other businesses adjacent, the 2 spots next to their trucking parking and the parking garage. What? Residents can’t just pull in to even a handful of parking spots? And have to use the public garage that takes longer to park and walk? I’m also confused. This new location’s parking had to be planned out years ago. And it’s not like a shopping boutique or a fast food place- this is at the very least needs to be convenient for locals to take their packages and mail letters!
