Avonia Road in Fairview PA is a top notch postal service location. I have truly never experienced such friendly, helpful and polite service in any post office. My son and I had to renew our passports so we went to the Legion Road PO in Erie. The person at the counter was in a personal conversation with another customer while we stood at the blue door waiting to be called. After his conversation he then told us the lady who does passports is on vacation. Really! He could not pause his personal conversation to let us know that five minutes earlier. What a don’t care attitude to have for a well paid job at the expense of the taxpayers. We dashed off to Fairview in the hopes of being able to get renewal passports there. This amazing young man, Taylor told us that we needed an appointment but he would be happy to do it for us anyway. Oh my gosh, he got us through the process while serving other customers because he was the only person at the service counter. And he kept apologizing for keeping us waiting while he was trying to do five things at one time. He was so cheerful, helpful and patient with everyone he was dealing with on a busy Saturday morning. What an outstanding gentleman who enjoys his job so much and is willing to go above and beyond to help. Thank you Taylor, I am forever grateful that you so kindly and efficiently helped us with an otherwise stressful situation.

I have had the same issue with my package not getting delivered today. The driver said the front door was not accessible, even though that is untrue as well. I'm about 20 feet off the road with no snow whatsoever from the road to my door. One package was delivered, but not the other. Strange.

Even though I have a rural mail box on a paved and plowed county road a book that was by USPS tracking was reported to not to have been left because the site was inaccessible (absolutely untrue). That was on 2/19 and as of 2/22 the book has not been delivered. My son-in-law checked on 2/20 to see if the book was being held there and was told it was not.
