It is disgusting to learn that a tax supported governmental system doesn't have anyone to answer the phone. No one answers the phone and it is impossible to leave a message. I live two hours away from the Columbia post office and have legal issues that need to be dealt with at the post office and I can't get ahold of anyone. I will have to drive the two hours to just get information. Again DISGUSTING!

what is wrong with my postal delivery person in Columbia PA ? my mailbox lid is never closed after the mail is deposited, there is a printed message directing them to close the lid on the mailbox. today I retrieved wet soggy mail because the mail person refuses to close the mailbox lid, they don't have a problem listening to the buds plugged into their ear though. I will be calling the PO on Tuesday to remedy this problem

I do not know if this will get to the Columbia Post office. I have tried calling 3 times today and nobody answered the phone. I am not getting my mail, I am getting other mail that is not mine. I have had to call 3 different people to pay over the phone, I DO NOT like doing that. The bill I called about today wanted to charge me a service fee. I have NEVER been late my entire life on paying anything! We keep getting different carriers and I am told everyone wants this route. What is the problem???

I love this branch...I love the counter people...I love the carriers...I love the postmaster... but the new counter person, K, is not only incompetent, but unpleasant. I know I'm not alone because I've heard others complaining about her as well. I am now going to time my visits to when she's not working. It shouldn't be this way.

They managed to 100% lose a recent package of mine. The carrier literally scanned it as delivered when it never arrived at all! I was home all afternoon and checking for it intermittently so I know for a fact it never arrived. When I called them to complain they said they didn't know where it was. I asked what they would do about my lost package and they told me to notify the seller and the seller would send me a new package. 2 problems with this. 1. the package was a pair of shoes so the seller may not have any more in my size. 2. I'll have to wait at least a week longer to get the shoes I should've had already! Poor service all the way around!

It's frustrating to have my packages thrown onto my porch in the rain with no care, a knock, or even trying to put the packages in between the doors. I get that having to park the truck, walk up to somebody's house, and knock on the door can be annoying, but it is part of the job. Laziness and ruining packages is not.
