You have delivered my packages to the wrong address from two different companies. Fix this!!

This small Post Office gets a LOT of traffic and is always very busy. THANK YOU to all the Postal Workers at the West Salem Post Office who keep the long lines moving and give excellent and friendly assistance to each and every person, even the grouchy ones. I did a search to see if the post offices in Salem are open on Saturdays. I came across these reviews on my first click. All I have to say is, thankyou i now understand why every package i have sent throught this location has arrived broken and i wasnt able to receieve my refunds for some reason. I sell on etsy. They were important and expensive, unreplaceable and i had the insurance. Never received refunds. I had to pay all my customers back and was so late on my bills. I shouldnt have to wait to see if their package made it to them in one piece or in 13 pieces before i use their payment. The items were literally 100 years old. You made me and my business look like shit. Your workers are doing the irish jig on our stuff before 300 front kicking them up into the wrong trucks. Maybe into their own vehicles. Maybe throwing them away. Or maybe even opening them right there, having a super special employees white elephant exchange full of true mystery and excitement. Pure joy. Nah....their giving em a swift 300 front kick into wrong trucks and scoring eachother on form, initial force, impact, finesse, creativity, battle cries and neglagence. Then all go out for a corndog and a pabst. Thanks america. I .....trust........ya........... .......... ...... ... ...

Several times now a package that doesn't fit in my mailbox has just been left on top of the box for ANYONE to just pick up and walk off with. This happened again just yesterday and inside the box was a spiralbound cookbook. Our mail doesn't get picked up until almost 8pm so that box sat out in the rain and hail ALL DAY LONG. The book was wet and the pages are stuck together. Thankfully I live in a neighborhood where people leave other peoples' things alone but that still doesn't make this okay. I can't see my box from my house but I'm only 2 houses down!!! The mail carrier used to bring it to our door if it didn't fit. New person delivering? New policy? Someone just being lazy??? Whatever is going on it needs to stop or I will start demanding full reimbursement!! Dated May 20, '21

I have had my mail put in my neighbors mail box 4 times in the last few weeks. We do not have connected mail box. Opposite sides of the road. I need to trust to be getting my mail. Very frustrating. Makes no sense.

No phone number i can find that works. Got a notice that it was attempted to be delivered. Was sitting on porch all day waiting and did not show. 10 minutes after said delivery attempt happened Amazon delivered the other thing I ordered on time. There is no wonder the bad reputation. I set up re delivery and no word yet. No sympathy for the workers here. fedex and the others work good but i guess that is what you get for a government system.

My portrait came in the mail in a Please! do not bend envelope and it was bent and creased to fit into my mail slot at my home. My mail is bent and unusable. Then there is nobody to reach over the phone to ask how and what do I do next when something dumb like this happens??? Do I get a refund?

I've been ordering a lot of stuff and a lot of it says 'delivered' but then it never shows up. I'm assuming it's being put in the wrong mailbox because I've been receiving a lot of mail for people with addresses close to mine.

Lately my mail winds up in the 'Forward' file with a yellow sticker annotating "Unable to Forward". Eventually it's delivered, albeit, late. I've lived at my address more than 3 years and I certainly haven't submitted anything to forward my mail. How annoying is that? I've lived many places in my life, but I've never encountered a more incompetent delivery system such as the 97304 West Salem Post Office.

Took my Christmas pkgs in today to use the machine. Here's an idea: How about EMPYTING THE BIN on regular basis two wks before Christmas!!! It's sunday, but no excuse. Couldn't get my pkgs in the drop, the bin was so full on the other side of the wall. I had to slam and shake it, even one at a time. Not happy. Hope I didn't break anything. I prefer driving to Silverton or Independence to go to the PO. Terrible and frustrating at the West Salem PO. PS And this is the second time this has happened to me.

Theirs an old woman with short hair working the front desk, she has absolutely no idea what she is doing and wouldnt help you or anyone for anything, i lost a 300$ package in the mail because of her, she has short hair, glasses, and is skinny,stupid,retarded, and just plain dumb and will lose your packages and mail, BE.....WARE......

This post office is the worst USPS i have ever came across, there is an old woman in there with short hair working the front desk and she is thee most worthless human being on the planet, I hope she reads this so she can realize how worthless she is and needs to die,i sent a 300$ phone through the mail and it got lost because of this dumb as hell woman thought it was for ups and now its lost in transit.........., she told me"nothing i can do sorry" this old woman couldnt give two damns about you or your mail. This whole establishment could care less about your packages, make sure you never go here again, I URGE YOU TO NEVER USE THIS PLACE EVER.

I ordered an item from Walmart Online on Nov 23, 2016. The tracking information shows it was picked up by USPS on Nov 25 for shipment. Since then, there is no information at all except to say "In Transit". USPS tracking is a joke. No package should take (to date) 17 days to ship! I tried to call West Salem Post Office. Called number in book and message at post office gave new customer number. Tried that and no answer, then an obnoxious prolonged sound occurs for some time, then caller is cut off. VERY FRUSTRATING to see a Federal Agency operated in such a manner. But, unfortunately, you really have no recourse and they know it!

You bet it's due to postal service errors. This happens in the 97304 area code with regularity. I've had more than one USPS delivery mysteriously "disappear" and I get neighbors' mail on a regular basis. I wonder why this happens, yet I receive all my UPS and FedEx parcels?

I've not gotten bills twice in the last two months and yet I get someone else' mail. I am wondering if this may d/t postal service errors. I was charged 25 dollars late fees because of it.
