I wanted to thank you for the outstanding service provided by my Powell mail carrier Dave Hooper and your post office representative Patel Hitesh. I needed to locate a medical package. They were on top of it and very helpful. Thank you for such excellent service.

Politey asked postmaster to help recover a lost certified letter contining $1300 in u.s.postal money orders. Have tried for 2 months to resolve this and because of the beaurocraacy of the post office and the total lack of comminication was told by postmster "i don't have time to help you". I find this quite apalling that someone could do tthis to the very customer that is responsible for their paycheck. Bet if it were their money it would get resolved quickly !

Tried calling several times today during posted business hours and its the same message every time that the office is currently closed. Reading the past comments it sounds like other people have had issues getting through as well

The Powell Post Office has very personable and professional employees. I have two post offices that are closer to me, but I drive to Powell whenever I have an important item to mail. Last time I went there, one postal worker recommended packaging for my fragile item and nearly wrapped it for me! Items are always quickly on their way. Excellent service!

Why is the postal driver not closing the lid on my mailbox I have checked it and it lifts up perfectly and closes easily yet he’s leaving it open and the lid down for anybody to reach in my mailbox he’s doing this on purpose now it’s going on about three weeks now and I think I’m missing some mail can you please talk to this individual see what his problem is?? For $72,000 a year or you would think that he could close the mailbox lid I will file a formal complaint if he doesn’t quit this stupidness

We have received our neighbors mail (2 boxes down) 8 times in the last 10 delivery days! All of it, not just a piece or two. We have left notes for driver to please check mail before leaving it in our box. Our mail has also been put in other mailboxes on our road many times too. This has been happening at least 1-2 days per week for as long as I can remember. There are plenty of times when our mail is of sensitive nature or this time of year, very important! Please help with this matter--it has been going on for over a year or more. All our neighbors are fed up. The mail used to be one thing we relied on.

I can never get through to the Powell Post Office when I call. I usually use FedEx or UPS for this reason as they have outstanding customer service. But, I purchased something and unfortunately the shipper used the regular US mail. Anytime this happens, I never get my packages on time, and when I try to call, after working through the whole excruciating automated system, I am told there is over an hour wait time. This forces an in person visit to the post office to try and get any help.

Is there an extra charge or request required to have USPS boxes delivered with plastic bag coverings when there is no one home and it is either raining or forecast to rain?? Today I returned home to 4 boxes delivered, without plastic. I literally had to turn the boxes on end and have the water run out of the boxes before I could take them in my house and place on plastic. This becoming a common occurrence and I do not understand why this is occurring. Do I need to ask to have everything covered in plastic? Are they aware, or do they just not care, that insurance can not cover the damage that occurs to items that can not be replaced? I could not be more disappointed, again.
