I keep getting other peoples mail at my address (wrong address). Is it that dificult of a job to look at an address and make sure your delivering to the right place? It's not once in a blue moon but all the time and I do take the mail to the right address especially packages. I have talked to management at the post office and they do nothing. Whynantskill P.O. please do the right thing.

I just entered the Wynantskill NY post office to drop off wedding invitations. I wanted to deliver them by hand. The gruff gentleman working took them from me and threw them in a bin under the desk while mumbling “they all go to the same spot”. Is this the customer service I should expect? I understand everyone is short staffed but it is not too much to ask for basic common decency. I doubt this is who you want interacting with customers all day.

I think the guy who works this window believes he is giving superior service, but... He DOES carry on long conversations with people in line, oblivious to the others waiting. Some of these conversations involve personal information that he should not be loudly proclaiming for anyone in line to hear. This has included the vacation dates of his customers and even their health concerns. Anybody in line can hear and potentially use this information for no good. (Hopefully not!) He has disclosed information about a relative's PO box to me. What if my relative does not want this information disclosed??? He is too much of a busybody! I have even avoided the Wynantskill post office location when possible because his practices annoy and distress me.

I have two problems right now: The first is that I had my mail on hold for four days, but none of it was delivered on the 5th day. I know that because I subscribe to Informed Delivery and could see what mail was supposed to be delivered. The second issue is that I have been trying to call the Post Office during their scheduled business hours. No one has answered the phone on the 3 times I've tried.

I have used this post office to mail several packages over the past few months. While it is convenient for me to stop on my way home, I have not been satisfied with the service at this location. I have not been asked how I would like my packages to be send (overnight, 2 day, etc) and I have had to mention myself that I would like signature confirmation added, sometimes after a shipping option has already been selected and printed without my knowledge. Asking how you would like something shipped seems very basic to me. Bradley also fails to ask if I would like cash back with my purchase. The last time I sent a package I was asked but he selected "no cash back" before I could open my mouth. He then criticized me for not letting me know quick enough. Although this post office is not very busy be prepared to wait in line as Bradley has long conversations with other customers. He seems to go out of his way to strike up a conversation so be prerared.
