I have sent a package to Kristen and Jonas Karlsson, at 50 N. Broadway, Tarrytown, N.Y. Could you please check and make sure they receive it. Thank you. Claire Kusiak (215-673-3506) thank you so much.

Today there was a line that made each customer wait 20-30 minutes. There was a single employee working (as there usually is) even though this office gets enough business for at least two staff members. Even around the holidays there is often only one employee working the desk. They have NO self-serve lines. Typically employees are rude and unhelpful. Today at 11:30AM the teller yelled at an older foreign man because he was not ready the first time he went to the window. She tried to make him get back in line, although he was clearly in the "vulnerable population" category. I offered to let him go before me, which she refused because "that's not how they do it at Chase" and "I run the show here." Rude, unhelpful, unprofessional, and ageist. The staff and management have no respect for the tax dollars that give them employment. Consistently poor experiences here.

I had an issue with my carrier. He was stacking the packages for the entire apartment building in front of my door, which was the only one that led outside the building. It was sometimes so heavy I couldn't open my door. I tried not to make a big deal out of it but then he left my wedding invitations outside in the rain. They were destroyed. I called corporate and launched an investigation which resolved nothing. Recently, I came in to the local office to inquire about a package I was supposed to receive. the woman at the front desk Jacqueline was speaking to a friend (the young police woman who walks up and town the street giving tickets) about church and kept waving her hand at me. She insisted on having me wait for another employee who never came. Then yelled at me in front of everyone else in the post office for not answering her questions according to her expectations . She was incredibly rude and condescending. I left and called corporate again to file a complaint. This morning I called the Tarrytown post office to talk to a manager. The postmaster, Robin, answered the phone telling me there was nothing she could do about my package, that corporate would not do anything about my complaints, and that it was my word against her employee, Jacqueline regarding her rudeness to me. Now I'm out over $1000 and the post office has not tried to rectify the situation with even anything as slight as a kind word or explanation. She insisted she shouldn't even be answering the phones.

This post office simply does not do it's job. Avoid them at all costs. Absolutely NEVER rely on them! My overnighted package got as far as this post office and then they dropped the ball and did NOT deliver it on time. The Post Master will be getting a letter of complaint. In the meantime please know that THIS post office is a great example of government employees simply showing up for a paycheck.

Lol....lol.....lol....lol... your mail didn't make it 2 its destination on time. Drive 25 minutes 2 THE Bronx where your mail gets opened & things stolen & you file a complaint (5 years ago) & the post master never gets in touch with you. Or, you wait in line forever & the workers are nasty. I'll take late mail any day.
