I am very disappointed with the customer service at this location. The cashier was not welcoming, VERY condescending, and I personally felt as I was racially profiled. With all that is going on in the world, I felt awful walking out of this USPS. I did not get the chance to get the name of the cashier but she was older, Caucasian and the clerk number on my receipt was Clerk #16. As I witness Clerk #16 at the New Springville location treat White individuals with courtesy, I would have appreciated she would have treated me with the same courtesy as well. When greeting White customers, she stated phrases such as "Hi Sweetie", "Have a nice day", etc. This clerk did not show this type of attitude towards me. She did not even greet me upon arriving to the window. From the moment, I felt like I was racially profiled. I am a highly educated adult and I did not appreciate the condescending way Clerk #16 spoke to me. In order to improve this issue, I would hope USPS would reach out to her to make her aware of this situation. With this pandemic & social issues going on, it is essential to treat everyone with respect and courtesy. Thank you.
