Postal Locations

Hi you guys I’m reading the negativity of the post office and I can assure you as a driver myself a couple years back we do everything we can to get everyone’s mail out especially at Christmas time every day from when we get there at seven in the morning from when we saw our own mail our own boxes load our own trucks and go through each person maybe three 4000 pieces of mail every day and I know I’ve worked till 9 o’clock until the last letter was off my truck they work hard I don’t want to repeat myself but when we get in at 7 o’clock in the morning we sort our own mail like I said Our boxes we line them up the best we can for faster service as one address comes up at a time some of us don’t get out of the post office until 9 10 o’clock in the morning until our trucks are completely done so it’s not easy being a postal worker yeah we do get paid good money but we work every second of every minute of every hour of every day and we don’t get breaks and we drive those mail trucks with no four-wheel-drive to get you your packages to make sure you get your mail and you know I never realize that myself until I delivered the post officeAre used to think the same thing you guys do well what the hell how come my mail was late or blah blah things do happen that you don’t need to happen but it does they can’t put their car so close to your mailbox that or our mail trucks that we’re going to get stopped because we don’t have four-wheel-drive we don’t have all wheel drive and we should and that I understand where you’re coming from but please don’t disrespect the post office employees because they work hard they all do so I hope you take this time to just reconsider how you feel about our postal employees please and I hope you do read this thank you so much

I do not understand why rural carriers in upstate New York, and I mean the REAL upstate NY, have to drive those tin box postal trucks that are not built for winter driving. We had 3 inches of snow yesterday morning (Thursday, 2/6/20). Our drive was plowed, the area around the 'cluster box' was shoveled, yet mail was not delivered due to the inability to access. This in not the first snowfall this winter, but this is the first time mail was not delivered. I hope this isn't a sign for the remainder of the winter!!! If it is, then perhaps the post office can provide free in office boxes for those who will not have their mail delivered due the the carrier's inability to drive/deliver in the winter weather.

Make sure you are not in a rush as these people take their sweet governmental time. And if you are near to the lunch hour with multiple parcels forget even being served. Poor attitude by Denise specifically.
