This post office is the worst! The staff are lazy and rude.Too many times I've had mail in my box that either belonged to a neighbor in the building or a completely different address. Some days they don't even deliver the mail.

-This post office frequently delivers my neighbors' mail to me! I'm sure my neighbors receive my mail too. -After notifying them repeatedly, this post office continues to deliver mail for residents who have long moved out. -We never know whether there will be a mail delivery on any given day. To retaliate for my reporting these and other issues, they left the USPS lock on my mail box OPEN. This is what happens when people cannot be fired.

Horrible I am standing on line as we speak to pick up a package that is hostage in this post office! I work from 7 am to 7 pm and don’t have time to come to pick up - I have had to leave plenty of times because attendant disappears!!!!! I am on line and there are only 3 people ahead of me that have been standing here over an hour without anyone coming to say anything- retail service reps are paying us no mind! Rude unprofessional!!! Ghetto !

The manager at this post office has the worse attitude towards customers .. I never have dealt with someone so nasty like that woman for customer service.. if you have an appointment and your there on time to get your US passport and their agent leaves because of an emergency they don't have someone else a back up in place to take care of us who we are not at fault instead she did not consider or understand what I had to do to make it on time for this appointment and not to mention I had my son who is special needs and She gave me an attitude because I was asking what to do next.. disgusting, worse customer service ever I hope a higher authority takes a look at their employees specially at their Manager

I come to this location almost every week or so to collect mail from my PO box (unfortunately). My disgust with this place has been going on for quite some time. Between the lazy and rude staff and the always filthy lobby, I dread having to come here. My biggest complaint however, is with one employee in particular. Her name is Raquel Richardson, whom is a part of the maintenance department. On multiple occasions, I've encountered this woman and each time has been the most disrespectful and outrageous experiences I've ever had at any public facility. My first time dealing with this woman, I came to the station to retrieve my mail, while she was clearing the trash cans. I politely asked her if this station does passport photos, for which she replied "how should I know? you should of looked that up or ask someone that cares!", then proceeded to walk away. The next time, maybe a month or so later, while she was entering the post office, in uniform, I asked if there was a restroom I could use, and if so, if she could direct me. Her response is "I'm on break. Go ask someone else." , all the while, she was mumbling profanity under her breath, yet loud enough for me to hear. My final encounter with this woman was the other day, Friday 11-27-2020. I recognized her and decided to keep my distance. As I was at the counter filling out some forms, she purposely walked past me, apparently recognizing me as well, and while on her phone, she said "Can you believe this dumb b---- is here again? I bet her stupid a-- is going to ask me some more stupid questions. This old b---- needs to learn how to read or have someone do it for her". To top it off, after making such nasty remarks, she walked past me and slightly turned around to look at me with a smirk. This woman, Raquel Richardson, is a disgusting, foul mouth, disrespectful and ignorant individual. I went as far as bringing this to the attention of a woman in the lobby that identified herself as the floor manager, for which she told me she would address the issue, and I should report the woman's behavior here. She then went on to say they have received several complaints against that woman by other employees and patrons, and she has her hands tied as this woman "has relations with a senior supervisor, Mr. Chambers". I will not reveal this person's identity, but she too is unprofessional to tell a patron such things. This location needs to be investigated, as far as their staff is concerned. It is very off putting. I will be looking in to alternative methods of obtaining a PO box.

the worst ever post office. we have had about 9 postal delivery people in a year, every year. they all say its the longest and worst route and we recieve our mail after 6pm . often just before we get a new postman, they just dont bother to bring the mail at all for days, and have never answered any of their phone no...ever. this is the middle of the national corona viris im 64 disabled waiting for my soc sec check that was sent on time i get my check like clockwork 4th wend. of e month, but here we go again,,,we only got mail delivery 2 days last week. im a high risk for covid because of my age anf resiratory problems and absolutely not supposed to leave my home. so, if i go there not sure ill get my mail, noone answers the phone so.. you are putting my...many others...life at risk.

This place is a total joke. It’s no wonder the USPS loses billions every year. The supervisor Friedman is a clown. He has a terrible attitude and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Shame on you!

I am a senior citizen and the clerk that used to be at window 8 stole $160.00 from me some time ago. I filed several complaints at 800 275-8777, and file a complaint with the postal inspector but to no avail. The clerk lied and said I didn't give her any money. I asked the post office to view the cameras and then tell me I didn't give the clerk any money. The manager Ms. Winfield advised me that the cameras are not there to watch the employees. The clerk was middle eastern. She is now at the 116th Street Post Office. These people have jobs and they make a decent salary, why do they have to steal from customers, especially senior citizens??? I don't go to Manhattanville P.O anymore. I go elsewhere for money orders, stamps, etc.

This post office is a disgrace to the postal service and an absolute disrespect to the community and the postal workers who actually do a good job. Package delivery is always an issue. Carriers lie and say they couldn't gain access to the building when they have never even attempted a delivery. Sometimes they don't even leave notices and you will only find that the item is at the post office when you check with the seller regarding why it has never been delivered or attempted for delivery. It is understaffed and causes people to be late for work and have to take time off just to pick up a package because you will wait at least an hour during the week, worse on weekends. No one on the staff is ever in a hurry no matter how long the line is. The one on 124th and Lexington is amazing, and if we lived just one block over, we'd be getting service there instead at this abysmally bad location. USPS should shut it down. Heck, it seems it would only affect about four or five people, with how few actually appear to be working.
