I put in a change of address form on July 30 from Huntington to Greenlawn. It is now August 29 and still no mail. I called and spoken to Mindy at the Huntington P.O. numerous times and it’s always the same rude and unpleasant, unprofessional answer. “It’s in the system. You have to be patient” It’s been 4 weeks! Now I find out our mail is being sent back as undeliverable! Do NOT trust Huntington P.O.

Mail truck 0214679. Mailman didn’t deliver my mail 2/9. Mailbox shoveled. Mailman refused to put mail in my box. I ran out to get the mail and asked him if the shoveling was ok he snapped “if you have to ask then no”. Mail truck 0214679. Mailman should be reprimanded or change careers for not delivering mail on 2/9. Big guy with black beard.

In the last snow storm, my mailbox post collapsed and the box rolled off as well. I placed the box on the surrounding ice mountain for temporary collection of mail. My request is that after the thaw, and until I can replace the post and box, will the carrier kindly bring mail to the door? Thanks for your attention. M. Petkoff

I was hit by a motor vehicle on Tuesday January 26,2021 at noon. The accident occured at noon on Main Street and Anderson Place. A postal carrier came to my aid, applied pressure to my wound and comforted me until the ambulance arrived. I would like to thank the carrier, but unfortunately do not know his name. I would like to thank him for his great kindness. I would appreciate it if you are able to identify him so that I may express my great appreciation.

I was at the Huntington NY post office this morning to mail a package. There was a line out the door at 9:00 and as I got closer I realized it was due to an Asian American postal workers inability to log into a certain machine. His co workers urged him multiple times to try the cubicle next to him but he refused and finally left the floor saying to the only other operator to let him know when his machine comes online. I assume this is his right under union benefits but he should be thankful he has a job as many of us don't. This is unacceptable

Is there a reason you mentioned his race? What's the point?

USPS Tracking information indicated expected delivery of valuable package on Thursday, April 23rd by 8:00 PM. Due to Pandemic problems attempt to deliver package was delayed to Friday,April 24th. On Friday subject package was not delivered since Postman did not properly ring our bell or we did not hear it. Postman left "Slip" which we signed giving the following instructions: 1) Posting Sign on Mailbox "We are Home please ring bell until we answer ..Thank you" 2) Checked off "Slip" indicating "Leave package in front of front door. On Saturday Postman left 2nd package, far less in value, that did not require signature. He DID NOT leave the valuable package and to further exacerbate the problem taking the signed for received receipt "Slip" (containing my signature of receipt). Before realizing it was a problem on Saturday afternoon, April 25th I could not reach the Huntington Post Office to attempt to obtain the subject package since it was closed. The MISTAKE here is we no longer have the signed receipt for receiving the subject valuable package as it was taken by the Mailman. Also we still do not have the package. Do not know whether or not the preceding is series of delivery mix-up errors of fringes on fraud. Would appreciate immediate action with respect to this matter. Had a very unpleasant experience with the person who does passport applications. She was hostile towards me and rude to my small children. I've since learned that this is a common tone as multiple people have told me they had the same experience with her. After she sent me away I decided not to return but went to a different branch where I was helped by a friendly employee who was not only helpful and kind but thorough and efficient. Thank goodness for the great people working in Northport's post office. I would warn others to avoid Huntington's passport office as I would hate for her to ruin others' days the way she ruined mine with her angry demeaner. I'm actually amazed this person is still employed given how many people have had negative interactions with her.

Yes, I've been to huntington 3 separate times to get my kids passports and she is very rude and down right mean. Even to my kids who were babies. I have to go again today and I'm really hoping she is not there. Last time I was there she made a note on my kids application that their passport should be denied and sent back because the (babies) picture was out of policy because the baby was laying down. Hello - what newborn stands up?? She's really awful.
