My experience at the Delmar Post Office was outrageous. There is a worker that is assigned to passport applications that is on a serve power trip. I have been there twice attempting to complete my sons passport and she is rude, unprofessional and honestly should be fired for incompetence. The Postmaster for that site should address this 55 yr old women’s issues. As a reminder I am a taxpayer in Delmar that pays her salary. She needs to GO! On a side note if you need a passport take a quick trip up to East Greenbush Post Office. They are quick, competent, and pleasant and most of all NOT on a power trip.

Why does it take two or more weeks to have a package delivered to a house in Delmar after it is received in the Albany Distribution Center?

The Delmar Post Office did us a big favor last week, forwarding a bulky package to my office that I didn't think I could handle. Many, many thanks.

Hello, I live at 19 Union Ave in Delmar, 12054. In the past few months, I have not received many of my postal items, including bills, quite a few times. I had unpaid bills because I never received them. I feel like something has happened or is happening in the sorting. I have lived in my house since 2001 and have never had this problem until the past 4 months.

I just had an uneasy short conversation with a postal worker. Two women were following my mail carrier, timing him and commenting about his times. The comments were not favorable. I said "I think it's terrible the way you treat your carriers." She sarcastically replies, "I think it's terrible that the public has preconceived ideas about things they know nothing about.
I felt as the part of the public, she could have spoken to me in a friendly manner and not reprimand me.
