I find it deplorable that the employees at the Richard Pino Post Office absolutely refuse to answer their phones. I tried numerous times to get through simply to inquire about a missing package I suspect my carrier left at someone else's address. Yet, after repeated attempts my phone calls where ignored and at times the phone was answered then immediately hung up. What does it take to speak to a postal official--an act of Congress? No wonder USPS continues to lose money! What dismal public service!!!!!!!
I don't bother calling this post office. I go there in person. Still get that "attitude" that sucks. And remember, they are always right.

Had packages being delivered by Amazon.com. Received message they had been delivered. They weren't in my mailbox nor outside my front door so went to the post office on November 30 to pick them up. I was told that they weren't there and that they don't put packages outside people's doors (Which is a lie because I received a package on November 27 on my door step and the tracking service stated that). The tracking service said that one package was delivered to the post office on November 28 and one package on November 29. Tried calling numbers listed on website but no one answered either number (272-8741 and 272-8739). Couldn't get an answer. Where are my packages????
My held mail was not delivered on the day it was supposed to be delivered and there was a check in it that I needed to deposit right away. I called the phone number listed in "Contact Numbers" and the phone was never answered and there was no recording or voicemail box, so I had to drive across town from work on my lunch hour to see if my held mail was still at the post office. Of course, I had to wait in a long line only to find out the mail was out with the carrier for delivery. I asked if the carrier could be contacted so I could get the mail from him/her and they tried calling and said the carrier wasn't answering. I showed the lady at the window the contact phone number and asked if it was the correct number because no one answers it and she said no, the number was 505-792-8739. Terrible service! Held mail should be delivered on the right day, correct phone numbers should be listed, and phones should be answered so people don't have to waste time driving across town to find out information!
Really bad service levels at this PO, especially by Steve. Had a not on my mail box today that said this is a new unit and you have to go to the PO to pick up keys. Old keys won't work. Went to the PO and talked to Steve. It was like talking to a wall. He said he didn't have any keys and no mail was being held. I asked, how do I get my mail? He said use your key. What a stupid response - already told him the key didn't work. Now I am really upset. Have to wait until tomorrow to get my mail only if someone smarter than Steve can figure out where the keys are. Poor management and execution in a federally run business.
