Okay so I ordered a package on 28th of april. may 5 I noticed my tracking told me my package will be delivered the following day.(from kearny nj to lakewood) So the day comes, and no package. I checked my tracking and it was still in kearny.( tracking never updated) May 7, I checked my tracking and it said it was suppose to come that day from lakewood. ( i guess the tracking updates real late) So I waited and nothing.. I called the lakewood office where the package was at. Spoke with a" supervisor" who was nice at first but seemed like was in a rush to hang up. So she pulled up my tracking number and told me they must have made an mistake and that when the delivery comes back she will ship it to my area. Which would take a other 2 or 3 days. I live in bayville. At this point im a little ticked off cause ive waiting for days for this package and now they messed up so I have to wait another couple more days So I asked her if there's any way I could get a express shipping like this is long. Well she an attitude and was telling me no. So I told her fine... You guys better hurry up and deliever my package cause this is crazy waiting this long. She then said I threatened her... So I then said to her" all I said was you better hurry up-" and then she cut me off yelling saying " That's it! You said you better.. I take that as a threat." so I laughed and said it was statement which is true and I have recording..then I asked if I could come pick it up... She then yelled and said No she will send it to my post office but shes not doing anything until I apologize cause she felt threaten.. Sorry you feel that way but nobody said to mess up your job.. I hung up on her. Waited all day saturday may 9th and today may 10 i checked my tracking and now its in Trenton. I need to speak with the post master after her cause this is crazy. All I want is my package..

On Sept. 30 E-bay notified me that an expected shipment had been delivered to me at 338 pm that afternoon. I was home and checked my porch and there was nothing there. I have received at least 60 boxes in the past 6 months and the mailman always leaves them - and my mail - on my porch and rings the bell. I live in a gated community and went riving around looking for the mailman's truck. When I could not find him I called the 800 number and got a very helpful off shore phone center employee who spoke terrible English but tried to be helpful. I gave him the tracking number and he told me to check my front door.He then told me he would contact the Lakewood USPS site and I would hear back within 24 hours. The next day, Oct. 1 I called Lakewood USPS and a man answered. I told him I was looking for a lost package and he switched me to a recorded message. I called back and stopped him from switching me again. He took my tracking number and told me the package had been delivered and tried to hang up. When I explained the problem I told him who my carrier was. He said that this man was not working that day but he would call me back. The next day Oct. 2 I called again and got the same man and we went through the whole routine again. He told me that the carrier was out and he would call me with the information. A little later I spoke with my carrier, who told me he knew absolutely nothing about the missing package and did not remember ever having delivered it to my door. This morning I called the Lakewood USPS and after the phone rang 86 times ( I counted) I hung up and went to this site. Now here is the worst part. I live on a street named Pine Valley Road. There is a Street called Pine Valley Court in our community. We have occasionally received each other's mail, so I called him. He did not have the package. On Oct. 1 I received a call from a man who lives on the other side of the community serviced by a different mailman. His street is Round Valley Court. He had my package, which was addressed to my Pine Valley address. I am waiting for the Lakewood post office to call me and tell me where my package is or what to do to submit a claim. I guess I'll tell him - if he calls.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this post office and USPS in general. I work for a company where we frequently order things for clients which are delivered via UPS and usually do not have any issue. However during this particular experience I have been waiting and waiting for a package. Finally I called Sears,(where I purchased the item) they were very helpful in tracking my package and telling me that it was unable to be delivered and was at the Lakewood post office and that I should try calling them and rescheduling. I was already annoyed that I had not been contacted by USPS about this issue and so I called. After a few seconds a man named "John" answered the phone and I explained my problem to him. He immediately put me on hold, where I remained for about 4 minutes. He then got back on the line and asked for my tracking number, which I had to repeat 3 times before he finally got right. He then told me to hold and got back on the line and said the computer was down and that he would call me back later that day. Two days later and no phone call I decided to call him back. Again "John" answered and again I explained my problem to him. Again he immediately put me on hold. When he came back on the line he asked for my tracking number, which I gave and he said "Are you in Toms River" I responded "No I am in Seaside Heights" to which he said "You need to call Toms River" I tried to explain to him that the email I got says the package was at the Lakewood office before he cutt me off and told me to call Toms River and then promptly hung up. So I attempted to call the Toms River office several times, each time getting a busy signal. Finally defeated I called the toll-free 800 since there is no other customer service number any where on the site. Of course I was greeted by a recorded message who asked for my tracking number and told me what I already knew. Several times I tried to ask for Customer Service or tried to get an actual operator on the phone. The recording told me, "This message is up to date and Customer Service is unavailable" So I never got to speak to anyone and my problem is STILL not resolved. I have no idea where my package is, when it will be delivered or how I can even go about picking it up myself. I cannot believe how poorly USPS handles their customer service or that I could not even have the opportunity to speak with some one directly.
