Why are the lights on all night at the JC post office? That's tax payers money....

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered a week ago, it says 'Delivered' but it never actually made it. This was a gift that I spent considerable time, effort and money on but their birthday has already passed. Now they won't even respond to a service request that I put in. Where is it??

Maybe employees are marking packages as "delivered" when they aren't b/c their supervisors are too hard on them. It's highly likely they're given an impossible amount of deliveries to complete in 1 shift and are penalized for not making the quota, so they fudge. Or it could be the tracking system that's not up to par so there's no option for "too many packages to deliver, yours is coming tomorrow." Either way, they're going to lose their Amazon contract if they don't fix this.

The 369 MLK post office and the postmaster of jersey city along with postal inspectors and court staff have impeded my mail for over a year illegally. They have been non responsive to my complaints and have been delivering my mail to someone else. The postal advocate claims my case was sent to the inspectors I just filed 5 more complaints. I caught the post office holding my mail without telling me for almost 4 months. Now I receive ZERO Mail as punishment. Instead it is they claim sent back because my P.O Box was closed although it was fully paid and an error placed on the box which no one can answer what it means. That's Jersey City Proud Postal Service.

The postal service in my area is dormant. I rarely see the postal worker. Mail is not delivered in a timely manner. If the mail carrier is it seems like no mail is delivered. If you get your mail before 4pm your lucky. Gotta do better. 07305

I have not gotten my mail for over a month. I've tried calling this location several times. No one picks up! I've called USPS and have to wait on hold for for over 2 hours at time and noone follows up on my case. I can't get my packages now and they are being forwarded to I don't know where.

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! I never received my package even though it required a signature it magically disappeared. I thought is was against the law to mess with someones mail.

NEW TO JC! Is it common for mail to simply never arrive with no explanation? Has happened to me 5-6 times at two different addresses. I can't determine if the mailman isn't showing up or if the post office is losing things. I'll get cryptic tracking info that says 'mail undeliverable" or "your mail is at the post office. no action needed" and there will be no mention of WHICH post office. Or my personal favorite, "out for delivery" and the tracking info will stay like that indefinitely. Anyone?

When call the 800 number the wait time is between 50 minutes to 55 minutes. Trying to contact the Bergen Ave branch but no one answered the phone since 2:30pm. The carrier left the mailboxes open. I live in country village and we have the WORST mail man he's lazy n is only worried about talking on his cell phone the WHOLE time he's so lazy that he can't even be bothered with putting the mail in the correct mailbox i live in a 2 family house n he puts all the mail in one mailbox he doesn't even wear his uniform everyday most of the time he looks like a bum wearing a t shirt n basketball shorts i can't believe the post office allows there employees to dress like bums i live at 9 Norcroft road something has to change this is ridiculous

This past Saturday May 14th We had no mail delivery on 2nd Street, I live at 419 2nd St. I asked my neighbors and they didn't receive any either, I wish someone would deliver our mail in the correct manner, Sometimes we don't get mail until after 4:340, I have bills to pay and if I don't receive them I will get a late fee attached, and I am not going to pay them YOU ARE, Please Hire somone who really wants these paying positions.
